Three out of four categories were highlighted with negative comments. This demonstrates how much the students love UniMAP.

Way to go, guys! shakehead.gif

Wow! We have a Mr President in the house. Welcome Mr President. It's our greatest pleasure having you here...

So what have you done to promote the name of the Robotics Club besides numerous failed attempts in Robocon? whistling.gif

For once, you sounded like Mr John Laurinaitis, the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Interim General Manager of Monday Night Raw.

The skill is there, mate!!! rclxms.gif

Maybe something to do with young lecturers more semangat? O.o....

Though I must say.. our batch are getting the worst inexperienced lecturers straight for 3 years adi..zzzzz.... while our seniors get Dr. Paul, Naga, and those big shots. sigh.... The only big shots taught us are Kenneth, *Marwan*, and some others..zzzzz

I agree with you in the semangat part, mate. Young lecturers are out there to make a name for themselves. The only way to achieve that is to get published in whatever journals, conferences, symposiums and the likes.

i would like to address the issue brought up by IvanWong1989.. unimap really has to improve on their manpower, in terms of quality.. we are already there in terms of quantity but the former trait, which is more important in determining the status of an education institution, is just lacking.. some of the lecturers are just too young, and harshly speaking, some are just plain "childish".. i wonder how unimap will excel with such "good quality babies"..

what do i mean by childish..? well, before a FYP viva, one of the panel (which is young and relatively inexperience) told the students, "this time around, i will shoot you, and make some of you cry in front of the presentation..."

i leave the comments to you guys.. smile.gif

I do not agree with you on that account. Inexperienced lecturers do not necessarily mean that they are not good and experienced lecturers also do not mean that they are awesome.

Some young lecturers will go all out to make sure that their students understand every single bit of what they teach.

Yeap... it's true... Even my current lecture which I should not name... really is a pain in the @$$....

He doesn't know what the hell is he teaching, and when our answers differed from marking scheme even a word, it's 0 marks for us. THE MEANING IS STIL THE SAME.... zzzzz.... and when people asked him to remark, he is quick to say, "ok i'll remark, but i rmb somewhere there are some answers wrong, do you really want to remark?"

and he kept saying "I welcome you to drop this course if u want to *with a big smile on his face*"

his lectures consist of... reading straight from the slides. any questions? answered in futility as he himself doesn't even understand most of the time.

imagine saying

This world is spherical in shape.

and he gives wrong cause answer scheme wrote

The world is spherical.

Haha....
I'm sorry if I sound like something unusual. Not much experience in using the forum anyway.
Well about Robotics Club in Unimap, It's disheartening that we failed every year at Robocon. Well, theres a long story related to that which I think it's inappropriate to type it out here.
