After the orientation week still need to wear tie?

Students only need to dress formally on two occasions: during the orientation week and during presentations. Ok, maybe not too formal during presentations. A simple long sleeve shirt n jacket will do.

Other than that, students are required to wear collared t-shirts, long pants and covered shoes to lectures. If the lecturer is the anyhow type, you can wear non-collared t-shirt, long pants and sandals, which is very rare, to be honest with ya.

In your hostels, you can wear anything you like. Shorts, singlets (if you have a body like Rafael Nadal), slippers...nobody cares. But if you happen to be a gal, well, many body will care. Gals are not allowed to wear revealing clothing...you know...Perlis....... Not even shorts that show off your wonderful looking...ermm, ok, I am getting off-topic now...

no need laa...just with t-shirt,jeans and shoes...but sometime i only wear flip flop...this is unimap not uitm...uitm u know laa their 'pak guard' macam mana...act like a cikgu disiplin ..

Please wear those "civilised" kind of t-shirt laa when attending lecture. You guys are/going to be university students. So please show that you are one by first choosing the right t-shirt to wear.

By the way, mates, I have yet to see anyone wearing the official LYN t-shirt in UniMAP. Maybe ghodul or IvanWong1989 could be the first one to do so.

I always wear the /k/tards tshirt. Either to class, or go makan2 at wang ulu. But so far no pipel tegur me one.
