This is the smokeless chimney hood. It actually suck the smoke and steam and retains the oil compound at the filter, thus releasing the ""smoke" into room atmosphere... It doesn't really make your room/living foggy but sometime it does leave a foggy kinda feeling (unless you are barbecuing at the stove) ... you have to keep cleaning the filter occasionally.. From my experience MBTL is very airy if you leave the sliding doors and windows open, so no smoky smoky feeling ... biggrin.gif

To change to exhaust type chimney, you need to hack thru the wall ..lots of works and costly ..  ohmy.gif

I don't think its normal to have smoke/foggy environment inside the house? The house will still smell of whatever you are cooking. My unit is not lake facing so I don't think it's practical to keep my windows open every time I want to cook. I might end up cleaning the dust from the highway outside instead. In my opinion, with a hood like this it really defeats the purpose of having 1.

Yes, will post some pics for everyone to see. I just notice it last Sun when I dropped by to check on the progress. Climbed on the kitchen cabinet and see it for myself so I'm damn sure bout it.

Here's some pics I took of the kitchen hood from the top..you can see that there's only a power point no outlet or path for the smoke to go out

Gym and court facilities ok? How about swimming pool? Never seen anyone posting pics of it.

Quick one guys...
Did anyone receive 18 months of Maintenance / Sinking Fund waiver during their SPA / SNP signing?

I know a few of us got it... or is it applicable to everyone?

The gym is up & running.
The current residents are having a blast at the Salt Pool during the weekends!
The courts... tennis, squash & badminton looks complete but never actually tested them yet.

As for the Olympic size pool, the developer's still working on it.

Who is the fiber optic internet supplier for Mirage by the Lake? I went to Maxis but was told Mirage is not fiber optic ready. I have asked the management, was asked to sign up from time.com. Anyone moved in and got the fiber optic internet up and running?

I went into Time.com for sign up, the search for availability does not have Mirage as a selection.Attached Image

The management guys told me MBTL will be under TIMES as all the core fiber cable was lay by them and there will be no UNIFI.

But when I went to the management office, I can see them using UNIFI. hmm.gif
