QUOTE(ErgoProxi @ Nov 14 2014, 08:33 PM) yeah. buy another mouse for yer lappy & keep keyboard + mouse combo for PC. its based on my personal opinion tackling from all angle, i use for my games (BF 4, Dota 2 , AC Black Flag and so much more), and my assignments. it works great for me.

Been using the G402 since the day I bought it and I'm glad to both Logitech improving their products and I myself added them a sale.
While deliberating on G402, my only concern from G400/G400s was the badly designed usb cable connection to the circuit board which makes the mouse infrequently disconnects and reconnects after certain mileage. Then I read G402 users are vigorously snapping their mouse to test the gyroscope sensor and no complaint yet on the cord. The cord is very stiff, right into the circuit board. Seems Logitech addressed the G400/s issue.
Next was it seemed that Logitech R&D innovates their products, while other brands looked lazy by just swapping older sensors with a newer one. The gyroscope sensor is G402 is frankly an overkill but the R&D efforts deserve a notice.
Finally, Logitech price point, for the quality given (20 million clicks, zero acceleration sensors, ergonomics, etc) competes favorably with rival brands.
Logitech released a good mice in G402 and I'm happy to be using it too.

Hi, would like to ask, is G402 suitable for claw-grip users? and also, is the material used on the surface and buttons rubberized or matte plastic? I am a claw grip user and have sweaty hands, that is why not fond of rubber surfaces.... and i've been using logitech mice, so I hope to get a logi mice again if g402 suits my requirements

I am a claw grip user and have sweaty hands, that is why not fond of rubber surfaces.... and i've been using logitech mice, so I hope to get a logi mice again if g402 suits my requirements I can't tell if G402 is suitable for claw grip as I am a mix of finger and palm griper. However, you can try your grip on G402 if you go to the 3rd floor of Plaza Lowyat, in the shop that selling only gamer gears. The other shops downstairs usually glue down their display mice making it hard to test properly. The top part of the G402 (left, right click, G logo area) is matte plastic while the thumb area and ring/pinky finger rest area as rubberized plastic. If you refer to the image below, the zig zag pattern at the G logo seperates the matte and rubber areas.
