Too far to go lowyat to pay a visit..so im guessing the sound quality of G500 iz pretty much the same as S750 ??

hi guys, my z680 was around 2 months old...i had problem with the fuse attached with this speaker...first time the fuse get blown i still got a replacement for it (bundled together with the speaker) sweat.gif ..but now it seems the second fuse was also blown away cry.gif ..the fuse spec is T2AH, 250V 2A...

has anyone faced this problem before? i want to get the replacement for the fuse but not sure where to get it? can i get the replacement fuse at any local electrical shop/store?  unsure.gif
*
since no one is answering ur fuse question directly, well guess i'll do the honor for u.

just get any 2A fuse u can find.

i'm using Z5500 and the fuse blown twice, the first time was within 2 weeks. after that another one two months, after that the replacement lasted till date. btw, i'm staying in apartment.

i owned a z5300 and if what they say is true, all logitech systems share the bloody noisy bass. i cant imagine you even thinking of adding more bass!  laugh.gif

anyway, the 'THX Certified' multimedia speakers are just pure nonsense. it means nothing smile.gif

edit: i forgot to tell you, you basically paid logitech who paid Lucasarts for the cert. the multimedia THX cert is a waste of money too, though we cant choose wheter to have it or not  whistling.gif
edited to be more specific towards THX mutimedia.  sweat.gif

well i disagree... THX certified is basically ensuring tht the sound played on ur speaker is as faithfully produced in the dubbing studio.... well, to get the full performance of ur speaker,it also depends on speaker placement and ur room acoustics... I doubted THX will burn their name just for the sake for logitech's money....

has anyone here used the z-5450?  How much does it cost?

other than the cool factor... I'm quite attracted to the convenience it offers.

I want one too but apparently the local distributor hasn't brought it in yet.

You should be able to find they at Ace Hardware or Home-Fix and they'll set you back around RM40 if I'm not mistaken. Another place to find them are those specialized hifi shops at most shopping malls.

I think you better hold off from buying that speakers first.
They are no longer in logitech website.

So my feeling says that logitech take it down either to dis-con it or to upgrade it.

Not sure tho. They have taken down the speakers entries from their website for like 3 months already.

Z-5500 has the same power like Z-680 but Z-5500 has DTS 96/24
