Well mine lasted about a week, I think I blew a fuse. This is despite being plugged into one of those Belkin surge protectors. What rubbish.

surge protector will take care provided the earth grounding is good. any leaks or surge got no way to go but the equipment.

seen my office almost all devices goes up in white smoke, upon check our floor DB ground plate was stolen.

Well if you're annoyed with the fuse too easy burning, get a 4A one instead of 2A. Don't get any more than that or you might kill the speaker for sure.

So far so good lah, just low sound, i need to turn it till -10dB then soun dloud loh tongue.gif

One thing, for playing game really not good, since you need other connection to do with the amp. So i din do for me.

Another thing with HTPC, it is more flexible lah IMO, it is expanable..

becasue i read some reviews saying the cables are "built-in" to the satelites. meaning we cant replace, extend the cables. so this means the new revision we could do so eh?

good good. yeah, not much improvement, but just in case the cable broke or wat, we could replace them.

if i'm not mistaken, there are 2 versions, the RCA terminated is built-in but u can also replace it jz that require some soldering....the other version is jz like "normal" hi-fi speakers with bare ends terminated...

i owned a z5300 and if what they say is true, all logitech systems share the bloody noisy bass. i cant imagine you even thinking of adding more bass!  laugh.gif

anyway, the 'THX Certified' multimedia speakers are just pure nonsense. it means nothing smile.gif

edit: i forgot to tell you, you basically paid logitech who paid Lucasarts for the cert. the multimedia THX cert is a waste of money too, though we cant choose wheter to have it or not  whistling.gif
edited to be more specific towards THX mutimedia.  sweat.gif
