QUOTE(justone @ Jun 5 2007, 11:44 PM) S750 and d best 5.1 multimedia speakers Klipsch PM5.1 Ultra were using the BASH amp which is famous in overheating... That is why after very long time consideration. I has been decided to leave all High End pc speaker such 3 top brands:Logitech is famous in burning fuses, so its more reliable(cheaper i'd say) and u can easily swap it wif those slow burns... Logitech Z5500 RM1499 Cons: When do listen music, a lot ppl said its sound crap. I read review from Mat Salleh also said that too Klipsch PM5.1 RM17xx Cons: No dts decoder. Sound i din know. As u guy say, overheated issue Gigawork S750 RM1xxx Cons: No dts decoder. As u guy say, overheated issue. So, I made it for Yamaha RX-V361 (5x100 watt rms) dolby, dts decoder etc and Yamaha NS-P430 (5.1) (Used spk) for total RM900 + RM480 = RM1380 + 50 (Coaxial cable) Of course, this set no problem for movie booming at all.....and it is expanable in future |

QUOTE(cky80 @ Jun 11 2007, 12:18 PM) was surfing earlier how to connect a darn digital optical or coax line to the z5500s....sigh. i matched it with my SB x-fi extreme music but no optical/digital out from that sound card directly! they have some funky 3.5mm 'flexijack' that needs a converter. Haha ya loh, i m fuking sien to find the convetor from RCA male to 3.5mm minijack. Luckily, i got the coaxial cable at the same place i buy the yamaha amp. There do manually for me i have to get their creative i/o module for another ~rm100. what brilliant marketing strategy.. |

QUOTE(cky80 @ Jun 15 2007, 03:19 PM) So far so good lah, just low sound, i need to turn it till -10dB then soun dloud loh One thing, for playing game really not good, since you need other connection to do with the amp. So i din do for me. Another thing with HTPC, it is more flexible lah IMO, it is expanable.. |
