QUOTE(asrul @ Jan 4 2011, 10:57 PM) guys. is it worth to let go my 18-70 kitlens and 50mm f1.8 to get tamron 17-50? I'd say no. No arguments, just personal preference:)

1870 got (+) value which is f/4.5 on 70mm where as 50mm good value of money. tammy 1750 good for learning cover mostly all the range we need exclude tele w/ constant 2.8 aperture so which one will you choose?

QUOTE(asrul @ Jan 5 2011, 12:18 AM) reason? apart from low-light problem? if you need the f/2.8 and the flexibility ( wide angle to tight potrait ). then go ahead. really depend on yourself. 18-70 should be a great kit lens. and plus u already have f/1.8 50mm . for low light , it should be better than the tammy This post has been edited by fcuk90: Jan 5 2011, 12:41 AM
