Kent, manual focus it. Use the focus indicator as reference.

Yea the round dot, haha.... but I noob at it, sure slow like tortoise! at last pissed off no choice take out the flash n guide the stupid lens oni la... but the TTL of SB900 is really superb, no regrets rclxms.gif No under or over ever after....

1870 got (+) value which is f/4.5 on 70mm
where as 50mm good value of money.
tammy 1750 good for learning cover mostly all the range we need exclude tele w/ constant 2.8 aperture
so which one will you choose?

if you need the f/2.8 and the flexibility ( wide angle to tight potrait ).

then go ahead. biggrin.gif

really depend on yourself.

18-70 should be a great kit lens. and plus u already have f/1.8 50mm . for low light , it should be better than the tammy
