QUOTE(donpapachino @ Jan 3 2011, 08:47 PM) fully charge @ 100% after ~3 hours charging. When it says unplug charger, you unplug and plug in again to continue charging...immediately after unplug, straight drop to 97%. seems like unofficial froyo really makan battery alot. now i use 18-24 hours, battery kong already. QUOTE(maranello55 @ Jan 3 2011, 02:13 PM) found d prob, Attention to ppl who is still in eclair/original firmware. There a major bug on the pattern lock. This bug do not just effect g5 but all android phone. So be cautios of your pattern lock. Dont make complex pattern that you forget letter and do play the game of guessing your pattern. You might end up lock up your phone completely!! Said this from personal experaince.Simply Lockscreen app. It locks the screen n never recover. stay away lol. Luckily can access Advance Task Killer and uninstall from there. Now its fine. http://getandroidstuff.com/simply-lockscre...onal-beautiful/ QUOTE(kimimaro_kun @ Jan 3 2011, 08:39 PM) Why want to compare with iphone? So true, so true What would u expect from low end android phone that cost only 1/4 from iphone... QUOTE(donpapachino @ Jan 3 2011, 08:47 PM) fully charge @ 100% after ~3 hours charging. Maybe you use too many background apps. do you turn on your 3g, thought 3 hour is actually not enough usually around 6 hours to fully recharge.immediately after unplug, straight drop to 97%. seems like unofficial froyo really makan battery alot. now i use 18-24 hours, battery kong already. |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jan 3 2011, 09:26 PM) You are comparing a RM600 with a RM2000 handphone... im not comparing with the hardware guys, the OS itself.. android is good enough..You compare Galaxy S with iPhone then you will know the power or Android iPhone they need to install apps into internal memory and they dont want to have external memory because people will want to install more apps on external memory that makes apps run slower. and android also recommended install apps on the internal memory rather than on SD card. its so true when u googling about it. (that way Samsung Nexus S have 8GB internal memory it compete apps market with apps store WHO will have many apps on it) now days external memory only for ur pic, music and data. NOT FOR APPS... when im in froyo have seen some lagging because many of my apps been store on SD Card. in eclair it really smooth, but dont have a space to install apps. (maybe the unofficial froyo that really buggy, but i dont think so. when u remove the sd card, ur G5 in froyo will run alot smoother...that the secret) G5 is the best touchscreen i ever had with ANDROID os... like it so much... but I need more internal memory... :/ with no memory we cant enjoy android...it limited on our G5. Im voting for install apps on Internal makes apps and OS run smoother... |

Your 3g is on, that's why your battery run out fast. g5 has a lot of background sync apps, they will download and upload stuff without you knowing. IS normal for your battery to run off fast when your 3g is on3g on, i heard if off, cannot receive sms? |

QUOTE(aeighwoupe @ Jan 4 2011, 10:47 AM) Thanks Yea, it's a really good budget Android phone. I am also very happy with mine. After you configure your GPS, download GPS Status from the Android Market. It will help you lock on.Already read from V1 to page 59 V2. I worth more than i paid But, first thing you will need is Advanced Task Killer. This phone will really drain your battery fast. ATK will help you kill apps that are running in the background. Trust me, there are always apps running in the background that will consume your battery Only waiting for the official Froyo release Added on January 4, 2011, 10:59 amAs for backgrounds/wallpaper, the Honeycomb one is really nice. Thx I use Background App, not sure where I got it from, either AppPlanet or Android Market. Thats a real useful app. Browse tons of very nice wallpapers. I use it often. You can choose to set the pic as background instantly or download the background to your phone and set it later This post has been edited by josenigel: Jan 4 2011, 10:59 AM |
