I just registered into lowyet.net because this thread is very useful to me. Congrats to the moderator. I already upgrade my galaxy 5 to froyo. But I can't enjoy all its features yet. Such as installs app to sd card and play/open flash files. can anyone help me with this?

please help me with apps to sd problem. i have successfully switched to froyo (I5500LUYJP2). no bug so far. but i can't transfer my apps to sd. the "move to sd" button is greyed out.

my galaxy 5 froyo also unable to play flash. tried to install adobe falsh 10.0 apk, but i got a message "the installation was unsuccessful" or sort of.

If you know any links or tutorial that can guide me, hopefully you are willing to share it with me. I highly appreciate your time. thanx

I can see that u need to root your phone to use "Move2SD Enabler". so, can I root my galaxy 5 froyo the same way to root enclair (using Universal Androot) ?

One more thing, how about taking screenshot? Do we have any app to do that?

i found a lot of guides. but it does not go into detail, which makes even harder for me to install SDK and its required content itself. -,-"

I can post all links that i found if u want to, and hopefully u will be able to make a detail, step by step guide out of it.


and "APP2SD Enabler" do not able to force all app to sd even with root permission + usb debugging. I don't think i do it wrong in any part of the process because its not that hard.

I won't move all app to sd (such as some important apps and widget thats run on backgroud) but at least if i can move certain apps that i only use at certain time like "papago" for example, i can really organize apps that i use in a separate sd cards.

many apps can't be transferred. papago, radiant, cubed music player, and more. I don't know where is the mistake, but superuser permission already allowed "Move2SD Enabler".

Can G5 play The Sims 3?

I think i know the reason why. I finally realized i can move all my apps to sd. What makes me think i only able to move certain apps r because im viewing from "App2Sd". It does not display all apps in my internal memory and only show certain apps. That's why i think i only able to move a limited number of apps. Correct me if im wrong.

You can try ringdroid from market. Its a good ringtone app. And happy new year! ^^

you get that right. but there might be unexpected bug. diffrent user reported diffrent problems. thank god I do not face any kind of bug.
