QUOTE(starz92 @ Jan 4 2011, 10:31 AM) anyone just bought the phone?? can tell me the current price for this phone?? Range of the price? I got it as a used set from my family member as he wanted to buy the samsung wave, so I'm not sure the real price. He just told it's around RM650++.Thanks in advance.Have a nice day QUOTE(josenigel @ Jan 4 2011, 10:52 AM) Yea, it's a really good budget Android phone. I am also very happy with mine. After you configure your GPS, download GPS Status from the Android Market. It will help you lock on. Yeah, installed the ATK, really do need it as I still trying lots of app from market But, first thing you will need is Advanced Task Killer. This phone will really drain your battery fast. ATK will help you kill apps that are running in the background. Trust me, there are always apps running in the background that will consume your battery Only waiting for the official Froyo release Added on January 4, 2011, 10:59 amAs for backgrounds/wallpaper, the Honeycomb one is really nice. Thx I use Background App, not sure where I got it from, either AppPlanet or Android Market. Thats a real useful app. Browse tons of very nice wallpapers. I use it often. You can choose to set the pic as background instantly or download the background to your phone and set it later Was thinking of getting the honeycomb for my wallpaper too |

I'll try to link them back I look at the dropbox website, we can undelete the deleted files arent we? It will recover back from the dropbox cache folder. Just went to dropbox website, click "show deleted files", then click the grey (deleted) files. The option to undeleted will popup. I will recover every files deleted yesterday.QUOTE(jaithesimpleguy @ Jan 5 2011, 06:36 PM) I'm very impressed with both of these instant messaging (IM) apps. They support multiple chat account such as: How to get the instant voice (beta)? which accout are you using? wanna try too - Windows Live (MSN) - Skype - AOL / AIM / ICQ - Yahoo - Google Talk - Jabber - MySpace "BeeJive IM v1.1.0.apk" and "imo.im 1.1.4.apk" are available on G5 dropbox. Which one will you preferred the most? *i love imo.im the most because it can support instant voice (beta)! and i'm currently using it like walkie talkie to chat with my friends! Configured my gps using configuration in page 1. It works well. Got locked in 2-3 minutes. Using home wifi instead of 3G for 1st time configuration. will try to lock without wifi or 3g later.

QUOTE(roadie @ Jan 7 2011, 11:38 PM) 1. calendar: agenda widget - can customise quite a bit for voice search, you might want to try vlingo. works great for me. Its a voice recognition app.2. game: air control lite 3. music player: andless - can play flac 4. search: google goggles - not perfect but still fun 5. sms: handcent - much better than default 6. gps: papago - routing not as good as garmin but better than nothing 7. gps: my tracks - well integrated with google maps 8. custom launch: smart bar, launcher pro 9. search: voice search - quite good results |

gameboid (com.androidemu.gba-1.apk) - A GBA emulator is now in the dropbox.
Since our G5 has no multitouch, so i use the d-pad for the game d-pad and touchscreen for button. Play with the setting a little bit, and you can use the d-pad with your left hand. For ROM, you can find it yourself, or use ROM gripper or Emulator ROMs in the market. This post has been edited by aeighwoupe: Jan 15 2011, 05:30 AM |

Someone has been playing around with dropbox. There a lots of duplicated file in it. Compare the files in
Galaxy 5 > App Galaxy 5 > App > Etc Aren't we been wasting space? |

QUOTE(koonghx @ Jan 23 2011, 09:25 PM) There are four method listed in here. Try whichever work for you.http://www.mydigitallife.info/2010/04/30/h...-android-phone/ I've try to connect and disconnect the "Enable always-on mobile". The option will be grayed when the is no 3G or edge (no 3G or edge symbol). You must set the correct APN, and when the symbol appear, you can untick the option. QUOTE(starz92 @ Jan 27 2011, 07:42 AM) any idea how can i go to 0.facebook.com (Digi) using my Galaxy 5? As i know, to open facebook, you will need internet (Wifi,3G or 2G) connection. Unless there is Wifi, you will need to on the 3G/2G to access facebook.Cause if i on the 3g/2g connection, there would be some background download which would completely drain my credit right? QUOTE(whaleknight @ Jan 27 2011, 11:29 AM) 1.Copy the folder "NaviSEA" into SD card root directory(SDCARD\NaviSEA\) 2.Install the apk file |
