Hi there folks!

I've got a problem. My android clock is lagging. For this whole week, I woke up late and reached office late because my alarm (default android alarm) didn't sound.

I set my alarm at 6.48am. It's supposed to sound at 6.48am, but it doesn't sound at 6.48am. This is because when I wake up (without the aid from my alarm), let's say at 7.15am, when I press the Power/End key (below the Google Search key), it shows the time when I last played around with my phone (probably the night earlier at 11.00pm). Then it quickly synchronizes with the real (current & present) time, and thus sounding the alarm (because the real time has gone beyond 6.48am).

So this means while the phone is idling (when the screen goes blank), the android clock is not ticking, thus skipping the alarm time set by myself at 6.48am.
Anyone that can help me please................................!!

guys i am having this problem while trying to flash to froyo.

what is this supposed to mean? i tried plug in/out few times the USB cable, but still no changes. however in Kies i can backup the data to PC
flawlessly. pls help me guys 

ok now the connection problem has been solved. now the prob arise in getting the froyo in. after following the instructions (including hard reset) my G5 keeps rebooting in normal 2.1 ( i guess) because the settting menu is still in monotones and the "about phone' still displays 2.1 -update1..

if this keep going on i might just wait for original release..sigh

Simply Lockscreen app.
It locks the screen n never recover. stay away lol.

Luckily can access Advance Task Killer and uninstall from there. Now its fine.

Why want to compare with iphone?
What would u expect from low end android phone that cost only 1/4 from iphone... 

fully charge @ 100% after ~3 hours charging.

immediately after unplug, straight drop to 97%. seems like unofficial froyo really makan battery alot. now i use 18-24 hours, battery kong already.

ok, will try on next recharge. usually reach 99% in 2 hours, but to become 100% need another 1 hour.

3g on, i heard if off, cannot receive sms?

Yea, it's a really good budget Android phone. I am also very happy with mine. After you configure your GPS, download GPS Status from the Android Market. It will help you lock on.
But, first thing you will need is Advanced Task Killer. This phone will really drain your battery fast. ATK will help you kill apps that are running in the background. Trust me, there are always apps running in the background that will consume your battery

I use Background App, not sure where I got it from, either AppPlanet or Android Market. Thats a real useful app. Browse tons of very nice wallpapers. I use it often. You can choose to set the pic as background instantly or download the background to your phone and set it later 

any idea why i get no search results for certain apps, esp google apps. ive tried search from market and from browser. i get this message "there are no matches in android market for the search"

Erkkk... How to OFF 3G? If my 3G is on, will it cost me coz my prepaid keep decreasing... Other than 3G, what are the reasons my credit decreasing? TQ...
