why don't you screen capture the steps you did (odin screenshot/etc) when flashing?
easier for us to know whether you did anything wrong/etc from the pic.

Make sure you get into the 'Downloading...' screen before connecting it to your PC

i think you need to re flash and make hard reset w/ formatting the SD card...(make a backup of you data)

But is there any relationship between wifi and memory card?

Yes. Maybe the old data or old apps that still in both memroy distrubing ur system. Like ads remover, it makes all system slow but it can remove the ads on ur apps..

SGPC PM me that I have deleted some files from dropbox and I only realised that it was done by me AV s/w. Any idea if this is really a malware.

I think it's better if you just access the Galaxy 5 Server folder via your phone to avoid deleting anything. You can exclude Galaxy 5 Server folder to sync with your pc by using the latest rc version of dropbox here: http://forums.dropbox.com/topic.php?id=28265

Avoid the dropbox software as it will sync offline folder with the server Use manually URL browsing and downloading
Kindly read the readme in the server and #1 post first before doing anything

i think slow apps loading is your idle screen showing not the full shortcuts/apps/widgets. i believed only the apps u install in your phone is load up faster, while apps in sdcard will show up quite late.
