what is this supposed to mean? i tried plug in/out few times the USB cable, but still no changes. however in Kies i can backup the data to PC

I think there something is interfering with your usb connection, window auto installer, kies, various. Try to shutdown any program that will intefior with usb connection. Make sure before you flash there is a yellow box under the port you use in the odin software

Get into download first by volume down, center, end call
Install KIES

ok now the connection problem has been solved. now the prob arise in getting the froyo in. after following the instructions (including hard reset) my G5 keeps rebooting in normal 2.1 ( i guess) because the settting menu is still in monotones and the "about phone' still displays 2.1 -update1..

if this keep going on i might just wait for original release..sigh

hey hey peepz! i just got my galaxy 5 two days ago and i'm loving it! it's my first touchscreen and smart phone, so i'm still super noob. lolz. but i'll be reading the thread for more info~~

hmm.gif if it still show 2.1, then meaning you failed on flashing.............try again, dont worry

still same issue, can access router but not internet. sad.gif

Added on December 25, 2010, 11:46 pmok solved already, change router setting from bridge mode to pppoe. laugh.gif

Hi guys..

Will flashing with the I5508ZNJP3 Flashing Guide on the front page solve the slow application loading from previous ROM?

I don't like using launcher as much...hehehehe

come lets try and error. i just got my G5 for few weeks, already learn to flash + use adb shell. not that hard. brows.gif

Why when I open camera 360 then the screen will ask me to force close? When I open the song that had been modified by ringdroid, gonna force close as well. Any special condition needed? :-)
