firmware version:
2.1-update 1

software number
1.15.707.1

is my firmware up to date? (using froyo?)

after i m connected to wifi, i tap on system software updates and i got the msg that the software is up to date. m i using froyo now?

is it recommendable to root froyo? or better root with older version?

No. You are using Eclair. See the guide in the first page to update to 1.25 RUU version then update to froyo. With froyo, you are unable to root it (yet).

1. Once you've confirmed that yours is a 1.15 unit, backup your data. There are many ways to do this, with apps like Titanium Backup, etc. There is no 'best' way to do so, so do it in your own way. Most of the data can be exported by the base apps into your SD card, like contacts.

this app requires root? if i didnt root my WF, how can i backup my things? especially sms.. :S

Erm, I'm not sure if the apps require root or not..but I just export my contacts to my SD card. All my message gone. Perhaps you should think about it first..

GREAT NEWS GUYS!!! Cyanogenmod 7 for htc wildfire are out now!! it is the custom gingerbread(2.3) rom rclxms.gif
for those who hasn't update to official froyo hurry up and flash it!! tongue.gif tongue.gif

Awesome performance.. biggrin.gif
mobile data working fine but need to manualy config APN
only gps not working coz of radio i thing
but i'm sure jacob will try to fix it soon

the best thing about no sense custom rom.. can enable jit rclxm9.gif
