hi i'm planning to get this phone..

can i know what's the best custom rom for this phone..and does it void the warranty? anyways to revert if i flash the rom?

i'm gonna buy this xperia x10 very soon.

but, my friend told me that, the Hd videos' recording looks normal only, and this is due to TFT screen. Also, he told me that all primary android phones are bad except xperia arc.
xperia x10 has normal screen unlike the others having AMOLED.
my friend told me that this hp is bad because it has not many applications.

T.T i dont knw what to do...any comment, sifu, please...

emm.. changed the setting to 11, seems not helping... will download the bladewifi in my faculty tomolo n get back to u wif the result!! Thanks ya!! >..<

for me, personaly, MIUI firmware... u can check out some screenshots a few pages back... very nice and crisp GUI.. something like IOS4...
but with Android capability... ad yes, u can easily flashback to original firmware using flashtool

it can record 720p recording.. but of course, if u view it on any phone, u wont see the difference... try viewing it on a 50" tv, then u can see the diff compared to normal recording from other phones..

at the moment, yes.. X10 only at 65K color, but the hardware can handle 16M.... but i do believe SE will give x10 16M when they release official 2.3 to x10 later this year... but dont take my word on this.. its just a possiblity...
lastly, i assume your friend is comparing X10 to an Iphone when he said X10 doesnt hav that many application, which is true...
Iphone Appstore has many applications becos apple started early...Android is catching up... but not all apps are useful... some are just junks...

no matter wat phone u use, if it says can record HD at 720P, the result should be the same...

SYMBIAN? its not as powerful as Android..
some say Nokia has better camera capabilites than SE.. true..
only if ur going for camera quality, they say nokia N8 is the best..

but for me, i rather use a normal digital camera and have an android as a daily smartphone.. cos symbian is no fun....period...

btw, X10 also has the best camera in town. u can hardly tell the differences with N8.. maybe N8 wins cos got xenonflash i think... i never really look at the detail spec cos its a Symbian phone to begin with, not worth considering at all...

ok.. just realised 1bug on MIUI firmware...
I cant search for Network Manually - some Error prompt came out...
then i tried to go to service menu (*100# maxis), i cant get it...
damn.. is this a known bug for MIUI... if so, it'll hard for me to buy those prepaid dataplan... any idea how to solve??
i tried all BB, still the same... went back and forth with generic 49/52 as a base rom and 54/58 (with BBpatch) too... same problem...

Definitely android is better.. Symbian seems to be slowly dieing.. Nokia is even starting to use Windows Phone 7 OS.

the manual search for network also not working for freex10 beta4.. but at least can get the service menu....

N8 powerful camera is not a doubt it really depend on how u use it. Even my C6-01 i can take few nice picture after a lot of failure.


Like X10 some ppl know how to take sharp picture but no matter i i try how many time my pic still blur and i found some camera software like "vintage" is useful as alternative camera than the ori one.

sad case..mine phone problem is water damage..zzz..i went to service centre and they said that it is water damage so cannot claim warranty..and i just bought for few monthes only...AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!..
now the phone sleep at the service center,the guy say warranty cant claim but it want to repair(using money) need to check how much 1st,cause dont know what to change..sad sad
the guy say mine phone and battery is already damage by water,so make until it cant on,and he say that water damage wont makes your phone cant on in few days,it take long time to get spoil..sad la now..

nvm de... i dun rili cares bout this... bout the C6-01, i never had a fren using it... So, i can't tell the differences... sorry ya...

no..keep in pocket where ever i go(out from house)..dont know why suddenly let the guy check then say water damage,and he open let me see the board and say already got dont know what thing..comsat service center wont ppl de gua..but for water damage how much need to pay?..high cost?..
