QUOTE(mastering89 @ Dec 23 2010, 11:03 AM) laszlo : pheewitttt. photoshoot lain kali nak ikot haha the extra extra functions like HDR/sweep panorama/multi frame noise reduction is just extra functions, some non-alpha user even say gimmicks to attract market. extra functions like that makes life easier but still cant beat the power of RAW images and manipulation (photoshop) IMO these functions will really add a lot into my photography and save time for me in post production. |

QUOTE(d4rkholeang3l @ Dec 25 2010, 02:23 PM) both have it's pro and cons.... i think he was comparing with the CZ 24-70 la. CZ16-80, u get sharpness and wider angle of vision . if 28-75, u get f/2.8 which is quite useful indoors. CZ16-80 is much more of kitlens replacement, and if u are getting 28-75, make sure u are comfortable with the range. PErsonally, I use Sigma 28-70, it's not really as wide as you think. I get used to a 28mm prime before buying the sigma QUOTE(fansoption @ Dec 25 2010, 02:47 PM) wa nice! very interesting abstracts! QUOTE(kuro0314 @ Dec 25 2010, 03:48 PM) isee isee yeah you can test until you happy. seriously have to test before choose which to buy ><~~!!! sony here don really allow to test right ?? ><" |

The thing about the tamron 17-50 is that Sony users are using the older version of the lens whereas canon n nikon users are using a newer version one. ......

wohooo ayam back from thailand~~~~
threw my vertical grip away( a bit regretted cause damn hard to take vertical shots during live view) and set my camera on program mode on 90% of the time... lazy to think so much for this trip..buahahaha.... and i think my dinosaur body's sync with my flash gun cacated liao ( must be because of the fall in Korea and when i just simply shoot at f22-32...omg the picture sooooooooo many dust spots.... more signs to retire this aging body liao.. going to send my camera into sony centre once again after new year... QUOTE(d4rkholeang3l @ Dec 28 2010, 08:30 PM) great that u already made up ur mind . 50mm lens is one of the last lens i will buy lor. for me la. on the side note, grabbing a 50mm prime is not a waste... u gonna buy it after all ask all other forummer, almost 8/10 of them have a 50mm primes are good in terms of sharpness and experience not to mention the large aperture for myself , i used primes for a few months namely 28mm and 50mm for all my shoot until i made up my mind to specialise in portrait photography and get a zoom. even that, i still plan to keep my primes P/S : u can still zoom wif primes, use ur legs |

QUOTE(Codyx @ Dec 28 2010, 08:34 PM) 2.8 was recommended by most of my contacts....i was brief to get one and dump the kit lens.....nobody saying kit lens was bad....it just my dedicated upgrade anyway i got my ex-flash before the f2.8. still....ex-flash was my main priority.....i just want to spend my buck for the best purpose....not planning for any soon upgrade or add-ons after this....hope you guys understand.... though the lens is much better in many ways than a kit lens with a f2.8. i can leave my flash in my bag for most of the time now.
