Make whatever truth if you will about FUP, the only one who truly benefits from FUP is TM. Not the people. It's as expected of a monopolized isp and generally any monopolized corporation in this world.

Not the people?

So, hypothetically, you say that it is fair for, someone who has paid 150 for VIP 10 who only downloads 50gb a month.. to have someone else paying the same 150 for VIP 10, but downloads 24/7.. so that's 3 TB a month..

Both of you are sharing the same international bandwidth.. and because of that one 3TB user, it gets slow once the bandwidth is capped?

So it's fair that many others who don't download like crazy will have to suffer the usage of others out there?

I rather be limited to let's say 200GB a month, but know that I can hit 20mbit whenever, than to have "unlimited" but can't even hit 1mbit because of congestion. Of course hoping that TM will be smart and sell bandwidth as well.. You can pay for an extra 50GB if and when you require more for that billing cycle.

i would prefer that we have no speed limit, and everything depend on total download cap. without any cap, may be heaven for download moster. i agree with Areas Elysian on this.

Cap is ok, but must be reasonable...current proposes cap all a joke (Unifi, Maxis etc)....at least 300GB a month for 5Mbps and above. Once exceeded quota, then throttle to half the speed, say 2.5Mbps. If 10Mbps, throttle to 5Mbps...now this fair. What i know from UNIFI, once exceed, will throttle to only 1Mbps....back 1990's??? doh.gif

competitive price? WAT COMPETITIVE PRICE WHEN THERE'S NO COMPETITION!!!

they'll just want more $$ from our pocket, and forcing ol' stimix users like me to upgrade via sucky service is the 1st step
