any update firmware for hdpro r1055??

will release next 3-4day. TThey need test run first~

yeah, and why not let the player see all files instead of just media files (movies, photos and music).

sometimes i want to use the player to copy/move/delete other files as well such as ms office files or other files.

its easier than switching on the PC just to copy a small file from my ext hdd to pendrive for e.g.

i hope it can be implemented in the future firmware.

Added on March 12, 2011, 12:25 amfound new firmware in your 4shared folder, but it does not update automatically.

the screen just goes blank and it comes back with the same version... v3 20101226

the R1055 i bought few months ago start to have problems.

1.) booting loop, come to the 'loading...' screen and goes black then comes 'loading...' again continuously, even up to 10 times or more. have to power off and power on to get to menu again.

2) quits to menu halfway playing movies, sometimes within 2-3 minutes but sometimes after 10-15 minutes - happens to all types of files e.g. avi, mkv, mp4 and so on.

* all the usb hdd drives, usb sticks and the same movies work fine on the older 1073 chipset player i bought from you last year.

return me check. if any problem will replace asap.~ very sorry.

Note:
Copy install.img to the root directory of a USB flash drive and connect it to the USB host port of the player.
Enter the Setup menu, Misc , System Upgrade and Enter to confirm.
Please wait for the flashing to complete until the player restarts by itself. (1 min)
Do not power off the unit during the flashing process!

What improvement does the firmware update do to H1055

Anybody successfully flash latest firmware for H1055 (blue front cover)?
