hello guys. need some help here. how do i play those bdiso files?

can this mini thingy do time seek and what's the max speed for fastforward and backward

don't need extract .. just *.iso can direct play.

or BDMV folder file.

quite easier to use than pressing the << or >> button then pressing > play again.

after using the player for around 1 week plus- i have one problem (with latest firmware installed)

sometimes, some movies will load but with no audio. this happens after i watch a movie with no problem or when i start up the unit. only solution is to switch off and on again.....

anyone else have this issue ?

my only wishlist for this unit ? have a option for us to load our own boot/load screen! the default "LOADING" boot screen is FUGLY.

HDMI out ? or use AMP ? or AV composite?


R1055 model ,will try ask them change.

but M1 model logo same with HDPRO+/ Mini+ .

Yangxi, for RMVB file with 2 audio channels, (eg mandarin and cantonese), how I select the channel?

press (audio) button. can switch ??

Cannot switch,it only show 1 audio channel, eg not like mkv with English DTS, Spanish AC3 option.

some icons in the menus are mapped wrongly.

mostly the >>| forward button is confused with > play in file copy/move menus.

it does take a while to browse through all the files in 1TB drive.

i think i need the old firmware again / or new firmware that has the file explorer.

Got the HDpro 1055 for the missus watching her beyond serials.
Great stuff. Comes with all the cables; composite, component and even hdmi, which is rare and and so is great value for the $.
Using it with my old 34" Panasonic TV via component in mr bedroom
Set up and connection a breeze with all the supplied cables.
Wife happy, me even happier coz now I can watch my movies anytime on my Dune based HT system downstairs.

wah clever... give your wife hdpro1055 and you take over the dune based HT ?

no hard feelings yangxi, the hdpro is just as capable as the dune.

The portability is another plus factor. Gonna take back to her hometown with a HDD toaster and watch some recently 'accquired' bd.iso files.
A good cure for boredom.

yeah, the hdpro seems really good with bd.iso files...

i have compared contents of hdpro r1055 and AC Ryan Essentials

it is almost the same, infact how the files in the firmware files are formatted is quite similar.

the codec files have different sizes due to different version, of course Hdpro r1055 has the newer codecs.

some files are the same size, in fact i believe to be exact copies.

which file/files contain the interface ? if we find out we might be able to 'learn' more about the interface...



top folder is hdpro

bottom folder is ac ryan essential.

PS : i am not looking to pirate ac ryan firmware, just wondering how it works.

but squashfs1.img is not extractable, its not a standard img file like the initial install.img

successfully extracted the squashfs using some linux tools, and surprise... surprise....

inside AC Ryan firmware, i found the resource folder that contains images, guess what !!

AC Ryan firmware is copied from Seagate, i found an image with Seagate logo on it.
