Note:
Copy install.img to the root directory of a USB flash drive and connect it to the USB host port of the player.
Enter the Setup menu, Misc , System Upgrade and Enter to confirm.
Please wait for the flashing to complete until the player restarts by itself. (1 min)
Do not power off the unit during the flashing process!

So if I'm not using network or Wifi..which one better in terms of playability and smoothness for MKV and BDMV files..HDPro+ or HDPRO R1055?

Also, it didn't mention can put in a internal HDD into the HDPRO R1055...can or not?

Looks like a value for money unit for my parents to watch TVB series and some occasional HD movies! Compare to existing 1073DD/Sigma media players that I'm having, love the way it presents the subtitles and search functions.

Would you please pm me the picture of the remote control layout? Tq.

1.) BDISO , only BDlite ..just play movie without menu.
2.) Realtek 1055 don't have network. so, no youtube ^.^ (just local playback only)

guys, can we use subtitle srt format when play 1080p mkv files with this player?

if can, how to do that?

if pc, just drag the srt file to media player rite.

Yangxi, i receive r1055 yesterday...sgt cepat bagus skali..

today update version 20101226

only left 4 menu (Movie,Music,Picture& Setup)
no more file manager...
file manager inside the 3 main menu (Movie,Music,Picture)..
lagi senang..

Can you also provide the firmware just before this for download as an insurance so that we can go back in case there are bugs in the new firmware and if we prefer the older version? So far I am happy with the player. Cheers.

Just update the player. Too bad i love the previous version more. Yangxi, can we downgrade it?

the 1 and the only reason i dont like about new firmware is:-

-The movie menu, it display the movie folder instead of just movie files in previous firmware. so hassle to go through all the folder. sad.gif

My r1055 after press power off on remote control - system off
but take more than 3 minute to turn ON back using remote control..
i need to switch off manually than restart back using back switch button.
is there any other way to solve it?
