can find all the menu images / icons and stuff in there.

cant find the fugly LOADING... picture.

R1055 coming firmware can manual turn on/off menu scan folder. and also change U.I color.

the other images, in squashfs, if i unsquashfs, edit the images, and re-compress to squashfs and compress back to install.img and flash, it would work rite ?

as long the size does not exceed the ROM of course.

i have an idea.

i see most of the images are not optimized .png files.

i believe the home screen performance can be improved with optimized files with smaller sizes.

8KB vs 40KB.

can you notice the difference. of course i have removed some png transparency.

I connected 1.5 TB HDD via toaster with BDMV and bd.iso files but not detected in the Movies folder.
Can see in file manager.
What can be wrong.

suggest turn off auto scan function , might slow down system.

goto file manager play.


(bd.iso). Not categories in movie folder

i did turn of the scan function.
In file manager, many small files, esp for universal studio movies.
Cannot determine which file is the movie file, size not shown.

we kind of need the old firmware actually...

it was better, with file manager.

or hopefully the new firmware that's coming soon has the file manager enabled again.

+1 new firmware.all files messed up

u means HDMI into TV?

highly believe ur movie come with DTS audio... DTS doesnt support for 2 channel and recommended to use coxial/optical/hdmi instead so most probably no able to downmix from 7.1/5.1 to 2 channel stereo... correct me if wrong...

anyway, there have some sort of software which can downmix from 7.1/5.1 to 2 channel stereo...

the hd player is supposed to do the downmix.

just got M1 player form yangxi. extremely fast seller.

but 1 got some issue with M1. when play the movie sometime it stuck and the screen turn blue (like hdmi disconnected) for 10 sec, then it resume the movie where the scene is stuck.

does any of u guys face this prob? is normal?

HDMI also can carry 5.1 & 7.1 digital signal... mostly the stereo analog output should be from the RCA...

hi bro.. i got 1 .mkv file that cannot show the subtitle , showed it fine in pc... in subtitle menu.. there is english subtitle listed ... but when i chose it, nothing happen... even the other column in the menu does not lit up as normal ...

tried to extract the subtitle and rename it accordingly .. still failed... any suggestion or previous exp dealing with this kind of issue?

ps :subtitle work perfectly fine with other movie, only this one...

Try use subtitle editor to fix any error. If still can't display, try convert to .ssa
