How about maximum reframes. Still 5?

For MKV, is it able to switch AUDIO track & subtitle ?

switching audio & subtitle should be no problem for any media player.

Realtek chipset (1073/1283) cannot play those mkv with high reframes. iinm, it can play until 5 reframes, after that it will stuttering. Most mkv encoded with <5 reframes, just some mkv have a high reframes (i.e Transformers = 12 reframes).
But not sure with 1055.

Nope, the previous play i bought cannot switch MKV AUDIO track until later they come out with firmware update then i can switch AUDIO track.

tried the infamous transformer1, as expected, still got pixelization issue

i tested many silu,chd version 1080p mkv. all ok.

mkvmerge v4.2-4.4 don't have problem. (support compress header)

other "normal/standard" encoded mkv are fine, except the "abnormal" one that i mentioned which i think only pc can tame it
as for bdmv/iso, i need to test with the latest firmware 1st

I checked some of my MKV files, and i'm confuse on the 'reframe' value. I got a 12GB MKV file, the 'reframe' = 5 but i have another 2GB MKV file, the 'reframe' = 7.

The MKV format is very confuse me now.

I have Transformer 1 mkv (12GB) which has pixel issue during playback on WDTV 1st generation. Smooth on Yangxi 1055. Already happy with that.

finally got time to watch 1 movie after getting this unit last Friday......Piranha (1080p)........... boobs babe....yeh !!

subtitle fonts looks little ugly....have to get better fonts....
