While I don't particularly like the home screen, but it's different from the others. Iphone gets boring with the icons page, while Android can put custom stuff in their pages, but the ui look a bit slow compared to the others. WP7 seems to be the smoothest, and I really love the ui(aside from the home screen tiles). Gonna buy a smartphone soon, so I've been reading and watching youtube a lot. Anything is an upgrade over nokia/symbian that I'm using right now.

Different week, I set my eyes on different phone(s).. kinda annoying. After reading what Mango will bring, I'm interested in WP7 again. Will HTC Mozart get the update? Thinking of buying that phone. Shame Focus is not meant for Asia.. the screen look a lot better.

To be frank Wan, me myself using focus , i prefer LG optimus 7 or HTC screen looks more natural and more comfortable to look on too..i found that super amoled screen not really something i like to be frank
I prefer natural colors after i compared with LG optimus 7 but no doubt samsung focus is one of the lightest and sleek phone in Wp7 family

All wp7 will get the mango update unless the OEM screws up again *cough* Samsung *cough*

the one that caught my attention is that ur saying skype free calls to the one inside the People Hub ?

as far as im concerned, skype free calls only to those who uses skype .
without skype, u can call but have to buy skype credit .

anyway, im hoping it'll be earlier since the market for wp7 is dropping .
devices become darn cheap already >.<"

Just a question, do you all have any idea where can i get Samsung Focus in Malaysia? or nearby KL??

MS did mention by fall (which is Sep onwards). My guess is, earliest - November. Latest February 2012.

i doubt MS will delay further unless something is wrong with Mango development.

we have to wait another 2 days for the conference
maybe they got surprise for us

the way i see it, they actually trying to improve a lot by the dateline .
the current improvement they have is still in the mild zone i guess .
that's y they're trying to max out the phone capability by this mango update

Wonder if they will announce new phones as well.

Apollo could be possible. Windows Phone names would end with "O", e.g. NoDo, Mango and possibly Apollo. Mango is gonna be bad-ass. But we should expect too much, its not gonna be a drastic change, we should try to keep our hype down, at least until the conference, where we know which of the features are confirmed.

Im not putting much expectation on the mango but they have confirmed new features right .
there's only a few features that aren't confirmed yet .
but will be announced tomorrow .
so yeah im definitely gonna watch the conference video

Wp8 live tiles is 3D and transparent
