The post above is my own fyi. And i just received my WP7 update. I didn't receive the notification until i connected it to the computer. The update ran pretty successful i guess. And how can i get myself in the owners list on the first post of this thread?
Hey guys, i dont know if this is an issue: I cant access the *128# menu for Digi. Either it takes very long, or when i dismiss, it comes up later but i cant enter the menu. HTC Mozart, Digi prepaid.
I have a similar problemm here in Brunei. I use *102#,*103# etc for various options for my prepaid SIM Card, and i takes a very very long time. I use HTC Trophy. The problem is with the WP7 OS itself. I hope they get a fix soon.
News update: NoDo Update pushed back to second half of March. I'm assuming we will get it even later so maybe we'll have to wait till April. But i'll be patient and be happy with my phone
Finally, another HTC Trophy user. Sorry bro, no custom ringtone. But for alarm can use some app lar. U just start the app, choose the song u want, then lock the screen can alrd. But drains the batt quite a bit, so better keep it plug-ed in.
Another fix in NoDo: Fixed update bug which only shows you theres an update for certain applications(especially trial apps) even after u attempt to update.
Added on March 31, 2011, 11:01 pmAnd the matketplace is better now. I used to be so cautions while browsing thru apps, making sure not to crash it. But now its smoother. And the app and games only search. Make sure u navigate into the apps before clicking the search button.

Yah, and its hangs the Music and Video hub too. I had to be uber careful while scrolling thru apps, but now i guess its fine. Pretty good update overall. Really appreciate what MS did.
Guys, does using dark theme one WP7 phone that's using Super LCD (Trophy) actually save battery power. Coz, i heard it somewhere from pocketnow that using dark theme on AMOLED saves power but it doesnt make sense to do that on LCD. Any idea? coz i prefer light theme..
hi all wp7 users...i want to ask something... when we use internet explorer and browsing page, then i hit home view homescreen. but when i press back, it goes back to the last page im browsing the net. its abit annoying. because to get the homescreen to be at the end of it, u need to hit back so many times ur browsing. any way to prevent this? does the backstack consumes memory?
For the internet browser, hitting the back button to go to the homescreen or hitting the home buttton doesn't make any difference, u page still will be in the same condition. It doesnt cause any backstack of memory, maybe just a little cache. If u want to actually close the page, go to the tab view and close all the tab which will leave only an empty tab.
ok if im browsing in a page 3, to go home screen i have to hit back 3 times. if im directly press home, at the main screen if i hit back, it will go back to the last browsing page.

Hello fellow WP7 users. its been a while since i was here. Microsoft just bought Skype? Sort of reminds me of Chelsea buying their way through. Anyways, this means video calling and other features will be integrated to Windows, Windows Live, and Windows Phone, and not just a Skype app. Integrated features, almost always better than standalone apps. The only problem i still have is that the only way to IM is via standalone app which is not even native from Microsoft, or at least from OEM(but unlikely). The only advantage of standalone apps is probably that it could be updated more often, unlike integrated features must wait for OS updates. 5 months now and i still love my HTC Trophy and Windows Phone. Now im in university(and not at home all day waiting for the holiday to end) and having a daily routine, i really find windows phone handy and useful. And somehow, i don't want True multitasking for WP7, instead just a fast-app switching. If we have true multitasking, we have to manage our RAM carefully and constantly, which is sort of against the whole idea of Windows Phone.
we have to wait another 2 days for the conference maybe they got surprise for us
the way i see it, they actually trying to improve a lot by the dateline . the current improvement they have is still in the mild zone i guess . that's y they're trying to max out the phone capability by this mango update
anyway, have u guys heard of WP8 codename "apollo" ?
what sort of update is gonna come man ? i feel like ManGo is big enough already >.<"
Apollo could be possible. Windows Phone names would end with "O", e.g. NoDo, Mango and possibly Apollo. Mango is gonna be bad-ass. But we should expect too much, its not gonna be a drastic change, we should try to keep our hype down, at least until the conference, where we know which of the features are confirmed.
