Everybody's connection okay already? Or has everyone given up? The 1Mb connection for the Semabok area in Melaka has been piss poor for about 3 months already.

Anyone got any rebates for the capping fiasco period in Nov/Dec 2010? I made a rebate request and finally got a reply saying that my rebate is approved for RM2x. Have to wait till next mont's bill to see if it is actually there or not.

mine since july, havent close the report yet.

will do so once i got unifi installed.

With a report open since July, you should ask for a rebate when you close the report. You just may get a large rebate due to report open for such a long time. No harm trying.

the local connection is ok. full speed.
but the international server always burst, but the london server i did two test. the first one burst but the second one stable like the local line except for upload..

There's a fundamental problem with what TM's offering - the international bandwidth just isn't there to support it. From the other side of the world I am getting fairly solid international performance worldwide. And this line (sold as 15 down / 2 up) costs RM110/month.

Check out the difference with that last one.

It's not just that the USA has a lot of content so users don't have to worry about speeds to elsewhere. It really does work better.

i dont have to use speedtest.net i use the stupid streamyx speedtest...

and the result is incredibly slow... I am a subscriber for 1Mbps and see what i Get.... zzzz this is especialy at night which I am also using the net... I paid and i got served as well... WTF!!!

Have you people disabled your all security software including Antivirus and Firewall before doing speed test?

If you have done so but still the speed test result showing slow speed, then that is really TM's problem.

Else, disable those security software first and then test again.
