Got an XPS 15 9560 last week, did all the updates, windows included, but found 1 annoying issue - the right of the screen has a black border that bothers me (does not interfere with the usage/productivity of the laptop, but still annoying for me)

Any owners face the same issue?

No, there's a slight gap between the screen and the panel on the right side of the monitor, but already contacted the dell support team, they will send somebody to address the issue next week.

i bought one, with the i7 but only FHD version.

My review :-

-The sound speaker are ok.. but not the best

-Battery was superb, with 60 whr, 50% brightness, I got 9-10 hrs battery life easily, maybe

-the performance are superb for kabylake i7

-i upgraded to 1tb intel 600p ssd, so its massive for storage

-8gb ram is more than enough to handle autocad, office works

-the heat review is true, but nothing to worry about

-extremely light on a 13 inch size

i switched from xps 15 to this one...for productivity, its a top notch, forget Macbook pro or any other ultra book

GET THIS ONE INSTEAD !!!!!

I am planning to buy the XPS13 Kaby Lake (7th generation Intel i7) and upgrade the storage with my personal 1TB SSD... Just curious if that would void your warranty?

Did you get your unit from Dell Malaysia website?

I just bought it from Lowyat. Roughly around RM 55xx. Its a FHD, I7, 256Gb. I don't like touch screen as since I will never use it. The touchpad is excellent enough except if if you're using Chrome, 2 finger scroll would be a bit problem(only sometimes).

The one you bought in Lowyat does it under Dell Malaysia warranty? I am interested the FHD with i7. Dell website only has i5 processor for FHD setup.

Originally, I was looking at the XPS 13 but a friend convinced me to buy the XPS 15 together with him. Walked into Dell outlet and bought 1 unit each. Upgraded OS to Windows 10 Pro.

I must say that the 4k ultrasharp display is captivating and the speed is needless to say, top notch.

So far, I've used it for web browsing and light gaming. It's wonderful. I will continue to use it for some programming and virtualization work. It was very expensive but I know a XPS has quality in it as my old XPS from 7 years ago is still working today.

If you are looking for premium, this is it. No regrets.

thanks for the feedback.

was deciding whether to get DFO since the price is ~20% cheaper than Dell online.

specs: i7-7500U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, non-touch. DFO price is RM4900, dell online is RM6399.

just checked in Dell Malaysia. cheapest RM4,399 for i5-7200U, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, non-touch wub.gif

currently Computex 2017 is ongoing. let's see if Dell has any new announcement laugh.gif

Is he authorised reseller? Where his stock from? Alot liars pretend ap set become dfo...

I m concern becoz I authorise reseller for dfo... Malaysia legit dfo only from Asia..

Recently got few containers illegal import dfo from HK and Indian.. this make things more confused..n practically non dfo reseller business owner here.. n they dun really bother to tell u the truth
