New Dell XPS 13 9343 owner reporting in

I got the FHD version with Core i7, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. It's amazing but not perfect though.

I'll get the minus points out first. I can see why people are complaining about the touchpad and the sound quality from headphones is not the best.

Other than that, i would say this laptop rocks. Awesome screen, awesome build quality, good performance, great battery life, quick boot up and shut down, good sound from the speakers (not HQ and no bass, but being so loud and clear for something so small is good), it even does miracast out of the box, although I haven't been able to test it yet.

All in all, a satisfactory first day, though I really got to get used to the keyboard layout and the weird behavior of the touchpad.

Seriously though, the hinge is still new so it's a bit tight and everytime I push the screen back by pressing the bezel, i wind up pressing part of the screen, which makes me paranoid about ruining the beautiful screen.

Ouch man. Well, the good news is that there's still time to sell them. OK lar. Maybe once you see the XPS 13, you'll fall in love with it and keep it instead.

the highest spec is with 512GB SSD and UHD which is 2015 model...
i hv order 1 512GB SSD to replace my 1TB HDD but sadly the Screen is not replaceable.
the 2015 model cost 3.6K for employee purchase with the same spec as i buy but come with UHD display

I am also interested with the dell xps 13. How much you purchased it? Order through dell agent or online?

Don't buy tru employee purchase, if you work inside dell, there is a link to buy which is much more cheaper and come with a year warranty ..

my XPS 15 9530 seem hving issue with the bass.
not sure is this normal for all XPS..
the bass sound like breaking...

Does anyone know where to get a 4k touch screen XPS 15 (9550)? Im looking for the 256gb ssd and 4k screen version but it seems the ones in malaysia are only hyvrid drives and 1080p screens

I like the spec but sad things the screen is FHD only.
if it is QHD, then I might consider it...
currently QHD only come with touch and very expensive..
thinking wait until late 2016 model and get new one to replace my current late 2014 XPS 15
