This is my modem status, is it got problem with the miscapped thing? I subscribing stremyx package 1mb, some buddy can help to solve this problem, and i have report to streamyx but they call me to wait wo, anyone have same problem eit me?

surely your line has some problem.Normally TM Net will take 1-2 days to check the problem and solve it for you.You just keep calling them every two days for updating your report.Good luck! wink.gif

i'm having frequent disconnect problem just afternoon till now, suddenly the DSL light blinking, then when ok already after few mins or few secs it blink blink again, i'm using direct connection (plug directly to wall socket, no splitter), i've try the phone, and the phone hv no dial tone, i just heard the noise, the noise like when u driving at highway that kind of noise.

i try to call 1300-88-9515, seems like their phone also having problem, i just keep get "duu duu duu duu" not nobody pick up, its more like their phone problem.

when i call 100, then it say "the number u hv dial is not in service" doh.gif

need help ASAP

my modem is Aztech DSL600EU

But i'm also having frequent disconnections for almost a month aldy. I've called them for countless times, they asked me to set the DNS address, changed my port, do a direct connection, technician even came up to change my modem and such. The problem is still not fix. According to the technician, my line is very beautiful with very high SNR (>30) and low attenuation (about 0.5). Now they said they told KL side to monitor my connections for 3 days to find out the problem.

Any ideas? I'm using Billion modem from streamyx btw.

If i always get downstream like 64/96/128 kbps but i can still get full downstream somtimes.
SNR margin i got nvr more than 30.
line attenuation 10++

is that possible my modem problem ?
Currently i m using D-Link DSL-2640T.

Anyone of you got problems with streaming..listening to internet radio. or even youtube...i always got the intermittances and cant get a smooth transmission. I subscribe to the 1mbps and my broadband speed test seem perfect..at least get 1.3 to 1.6m download. What am i looking for to fix this problem. Package loss while on transfer?? I cant get the streamyx people to fix it cos they dont know what my problem is.

dunno true or not. Like u i used to use my dlink di-524 as my modem/router. Didnt noticed/cared so much about DC/DC before. Untill i started to download HD movies. later from this tread, i changed my di-524 to be just access point, and my billion modem as modem/router. Then i ve no more DC/DC. \
So i think the problem is with my d link. will definately stay away from them in the future.
I'm on the same IP since then - no more DC/DC (fingers cross) sweat.gif
