also a new spice owner here... just bought it last saturday
price is 599

been a while surfin around this post, and finally decided to buy the cheapest android phone.

so, after one hour i opened the box, rooted it with z4root to remove those blueberry crap and fake facebook link, and all other crap.

last monday flashed my first rom... cm7 build 14, then another one... boston v4.1, follow with cm7 build 15, then boston v4...

but in the end still stick with spice's 2.1 crappy 480MHz rom... but there is a reason

with custom rom, i ecountered heap loads of problems, incl:
- "SD card removed unexpectedly", experienced this in ALL custom ROM...
- auto restart after i wake it up
- something wrong with the g-sensor
- random FC...

hopefully someone can help with the sd card problem.

i still using Micro SD Class 2 ..is it ok to flash with CM 6 ?

Just flash back to 2.1.. download firetrap coz think it is the best and stable but really dissapointed wif it..

i'm still stick with firetrap sugar 1.2(the best for me i think rather than other ROM). just waiting for next stable firetrap

just flash it to 2.1 using Eclair Software Updater, very easy one....want to enjoy the 2.1 b4 go for 2.2 !

lol. might be awhile b4 that worklogs start..hard to start on stuffs i use daily lol. my worklog on case mod took like forever until finished rotfl.
and fyi guys, i had these 'sdcard removed unexpectedly' on most 2.2 rom i've tried..on 2.1 its workin jz fine..on stock card

then got myself a class 4 microSDHC and that error never showed up anymore.

- can't connect to WiFi...
