yes, i believe it is becoz some "compatible" issue between the old sense and the HD sense contact database.  I restored my contact from Titanium Backup too.  wow... to lazy to sync to cloud then sync back.  rclxub.gif
I tried... YES!!!!! IT CAN!!!

I click "RING" at HTC Sense.com and my Desire indeed rings!!!!!!!  drool.gif  laugh.gif  thumbup.gif  rclxms.gif

i have 110 application. and below is my memory status using n1 table. most of them are game with bigger size memory.

a2sd+ : 141mb
internal : 145mb

if you by mistake taken out the sdcard and on the phone, it still successful on the phone.
but if you are not using firerat and do same as above, your phone will boot loop.

I see. Is Firerat compatible with all roms or only cyanogen? Is there a simple guide on how to get it working? I found one on the xda but its super complicated. Can I just install it like installing a recovery or smth? The n1 table you mention is it = firerat?

Sorry so many noob questions blush.gif

n1 table and firerat are required to soff first. but there's a script that are for s-on
n1 table = to modified partition table by alpharev. n1 table = similar to nexus table.

to activate the firerat script just simply go to terminal and type below.

firerat script need to put into root sdcard location.

su
sh /sdcard/fr-a2sd_1-36c.sh.txt

reboot.

details just go to below.

http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/2636-fr...-issues-i-hope/

firerat is actually build for htc magic since dark tremor required more size to install. 6mb vs 25kb. but it is safe to implement to cyanogen as firerat start to build compatible script version to other's htc model.

as for other rom, i believe they already been assign zipalign with dark tremor script. and I do not know how to deactivate the DT script.

if you want to use firerat, firstly deactivate zipalign (if rom include the zipalign fuction) or find rom w/o a2sd function.

Added on December 2, 2010, 8:57 pmBtw, trying restore from nandroid also failed.. below is the error message:

Restoring boot image...
Restoring system...
Can't unmount /system/!

Oh yup, I havent turn off the phone.. should i turn it off first or let it still in ClockworkMod Recovery menu?

Added on December 2, 2010, 9:29 pmUpon reboot now I'm back to the default HTC screen & 1st time setup.
Checking on phone info & it said all updated accordingly to new uvoc rom and radio. (I'm installing radio 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27).

But when tried to enable Wifi, there's a small text "error" below the option and I cant click on it (think it's disabled).. any help?

Oh, that's too bad. I like MIUI but it has a2sd.

Just a question, if I have a non a2sd rom, I just have to type that command to activate firerat right? Then automatic it will have more storage or there are other things I have to do to get it working(like set the amount of space, etc)?

As I heard, this battery can't be calibrated right? Meaning the % in your phone doesn't reflect the real % left.

You coupd be right, cos initially it was having some issues.

Then i started plugging in as long as i am at the desk ..

It seems much better already now ... usb slow charge seems to do the trick ...

I find that auraxtsense seems to be laggier than defrost and eats up more ram, probably due to the htc sense. Any other nice sense based roms?

Asking:
i have followed all the rooting step by step on XDA Tutorial to root my Desire

"The easiest root method of all is(works for any Desire!):
[GUIDE] One Click How to Root the GSM & CDMA Desire with Unrevoked 3.21"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=696189
http://snipurl.com/1kjrhi

but after i plug in the device & open the unrEVOked 3 its shown:
"Communications with phone unexpectedly interrupted. Try again."
P.S.: I've edy uninstalled my HTC Sync...

EDIT: its work after several time of tried ... close all the programs on pc ...
& open the reflash exe while if the pc is asking to install it correctly on pc for the reflas click reinstall..
& now if the unrEVOked 3 restart, now only plug ur device in... & it will be fine to detect it..
*just an info, while i cant even find the answer in XDA, maybe I'm really that noob in finding that ><"*

Yeah. If you install HTC Sync, it'll install the necessary drivers for you too and make it easier to connect.

Found something quite unusual happenning to my Desire this morning..

user posted image

It last for 3 hours at 100% battery level! With 1 call received (2-3min) and 1 SMS sent.

Woo... I didn't realise it can sustain at that level for this long.

Will see whether it can reach 3 day marks.. biggrin.gif

Yea I always had the impression that within 1.5-2 hrs is considered normal.

So that's why it was out of my expectation that it clocked 3 hours at 100% level.

I think it's the richardtrip kernel that did most of the battery saving work. I have quite a number of widgets/apps that require data refresh quite frequently. I 'strangled' them at 245mHz most of the time anyway. tongue.gif
