i have followed all the rooting step by step on XDA Tutorial to root my Desire

but after i plug in the device & open the unrEVOked 3 its shown:
"Communications with phone unexpectedly interrupted. Try again."
P.S.: I've edy uninstalled my HTC Sync...

EDIT: its work after several time of tried ... close all the programs on pc ...
& open the reflash exe while if the pc is asking to install it correctly on pc for the reflas click reinstall..
& now if the unrEVOked 3 restart, now only plug ur device in... & it will be fine to detect it..

Woah, my desire gone crazy just now. I answer call like normal but it friggin loud!! I keep pressing to lower the volume but its already minimum and still DAMN LOUD. I thought accidentally press loud speaker so I go press loud speaker to off. Bugger the fella become even LOUDER!! Whole room can hear my convo with minimum volume =.=

Guyz, today i tried to re partition my sd card, thru minitool parition wizard.. i don't knw wat went wrong.. now my desire doesn't read my sd card at all, neither the parition succeed neither my sd card works now... can anybody tell me wat'z wrong wid it n hw can i settle the problem.....

one thing I notice is the update free up more memory.  with all those apps I got, I normally got about 170 - 200MB free memory. now I am getting about 240Mb

i think there is something new to the chefs, they have this data2ext now which can actually use the SD card just like it is the internal memory.  I have not tried it yet until it is really stable to use... i heard it is experimental... the latest RCMix Sense HD rom and the AuranTSense 8.1.1 (non-HD) use this dart2ext now which free up a lot of the internal memory but you need at least a 1GB ext2/3/4.

can u tell me how to use gpart .. does it run in windows.... will really appreciate for ur help...

lemme clarify. me using stock ROM. the sains of rooting is too deep for me. I want to root but dunno where to start.  the memory I mention is not the internal phone storage.  I am referring to.... when I kill apps using advanced task killer, it tell Me now I got more memory.

sori yea if I potong stim sikit, phone these days are more complex than operating VCR

if you got this size of partition, i sure get you to sell me your desire...

can desire be used as WIfi hot spot?
and can it be connected to Desktop pc like a broadband(what is needed to do so? cable?)
can it still receive calls and sms when use as wifi hotspot or connect for desktop for internet?
how fast will the battery drained by using it as wifi hotspot or broadband?

Me too...I'm using mui rom..can't seem to get applanet working....anyone know how to get working?

yeah..CM seems more complicated even to install it..need to flash new recovey etc (from what i read).

so maybe take some time before go for  CM

i think it is oxygen. cause other ROMs (that i've tried) dont have this problem.

it just nice to see pic of FB profile in my contacts rather that some shadow with '?'
