hey just want to share this, its not directly related to Desire, but more to Android

i jus newly got my htc desire which my first android phone as well..i jus folo the post from maxis site kinda confuse hope i did it right,if the above icon showing E(edge) if H should be HSDPA which is 3g/3.5g rite?
but i cant seems to connect to the internet... anyone got some easy tutorial for the internet setting? ur help will be glad....thxx sebz |

hi folks, i have ald root my desire using unrevoked. however, i discover i have PVT4 the new NAND and getting the following error.
E: Can't find MISC: E: Can't mount CACHE: recovery/command E: Can't find MISC: E: Can't mount CACHE: recovery/log E: Can't find MISC: I understand that clockworkmod didnt work for this NAND but is Amon RA 2.0 able to solve my prob?? Please advise. TQ btw, how to use superuser permission apps? I have no clue at all. Tried to run titanium backup and it said my phone is not rooted yet. how come? flashing ownheredesireHD_v1.4 now. can't wait for auraxt HD rom.

guyss...can my device sync with windows contact??because i cant sync at the HTC SYNC "people" there?

Hi morning peeps, for those flashed to RCMixHD_v013, 1) Did you guys flash the "720pPlaybackFix-signed.zip" separately after flashing the "RCMixHD_v013.zip"? 2) Is there any other additional steps I need to perform after flashing the above? Did you guys flash a different kernel? 3) What is the backup and restoration app u guys used? MyBackUpPro or Titanium? I heard there were some issues when restoring from titanium backup? 4) How you guys feel so far on the battery life? |

Worst day of my life.....Accidentally stepped lightly on my desire and now the screen is gone, just displaying black regions with white regions. Gonna search for the tutorial to unroot it without the screen. Need you guys help, what do i need to bring to send for repair?? Mine is maxis set. Do i bring it to SIS or MAxis?

Didn't install any additional Kernel 3. I only use titanium backup and after restored, all of my app are running smooth including my papago gps(tested yesterday) working well. 4. Battery life is normal just like any other sense ROM. |

1. I just flashed it separately as I already was on v0.12 and me being too lazy to redo the whole thing... 2. I did not no any additional steps and it was running okey... then again how many times do i watch video on this baby anyway...  3. Nowadays, I just used ROM Mgr for most of the things. Use the Titanium to get back apps separately... havent had much FCs as reported but keep updating it and should be fine. 4. Battery life?.. Didnt really cared cos am plugged in most of the time now. But previously was bad, until I calibrated it and flashed the Radio as posted yesterday. @jonjon87 - I think you can give a call to Maxis support first. They should be able to point you in the right direction. That was what I did last time. @kaolen - Here you go, friend ->XDA - Caution New PVT4 Have a nice weekend and good luck with your Desires, all you Desirable Serial Flashers....  |

Hey guys,
I have problem flashed DesireHD Rom, which is RCMixHD v0.13.Using ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.0.7. Steps i done is: 1. Reboot into recover mode 2. do Backup in Backup and Restore 3. Wipe Data/factory reset 4. wipe cache partition 5. lastly flashed RCMixHD v0.13 ROM. But in the middle of progress, specifically after copying files.... it fail and show this error message "E:\Can't chown/mod/sd-ext/customize_s (no such file or directory) set_perm_recursive 1000 1000 0771 0644 SDEXT:customize_s Installation aborted. May i know why is this happened? Currently, i'm using LeeDroid v2.2f ROM. |
