guys,need your help...how do i recover my ext3 partition...???seems that my ext3 is corrupted...i've checked thru quick system info,my ext3 is still there but when i check thru Titanium Backup,my a2sd isnt there...it shows me free space from my internal memory not my a2sd...i've encountered this problem yesterday when trying to update my Angry Birds Season from the market...the peculiar thing is,if my ext3 is corrupted,i wont be able to start any of my apps as all will reside on a2sd correct?so what is the problem that im facing actually?

Guys, what does it means if we score high in quadrant benchmark test? The higher means the faster is it?

@koolakt, @zamanjaafar - I always had that before on Digi, especially when it rains. Seems like they were upgrading the network. Now it is stable most of the time. Try it today and see what happens.

Finally, got myself to flash the RCMisHD v0.13 last night. Took quite a while for it to boot. And after leaving it for about 5-10 mins to get stable, it was still laggy. Discovered 2 things:
1. Repair file permissions and reboot. Help reduce the lag and smoother today.
2. Could not get to connected to HTCHub. Did an FC and clear cache and got connected...

There are still a couple of issues with RCMixHD v0.13... but should resolve soon. I think more becos of the new RCKernel b46...

I think if ext3 got prob, wanna boot up phone also will have problems.

When you install Angry birds seasons what does it say? I haven't been able to install it at all either. Maybe you should try installing another app just to confirm it is not angry birds problem.

Yea, I guess. But reading some reviews online, it doesn't seem really reliable.

Oh no... That is bad... It could be just a sector, which is why you can run the apps but sometimes it will hang when it gets to the bad sector... The free space would not run at all as it will read thru the whole disk before giving you the info.

Have you tried checking on your PC? Some of the Disk Utils helps recover if you are lucky enough... but be careful when using those tools of mass destruction... Good luck.

@awiekupo - you are right but careful also as the heat is really bad if running it at long periods... if only we can install a liquid cooled kit for our Desires...

@zamanjaafar - If I am not mistaken, not our Ibu Negara or Malaysia is recognized yet on the market to make purchases. I have been purchasing using PayPal. They give activation keys so doesn't matter whose credit card you use...

1.Make sure you’ve still got your old SD card in
2.Create a new folder on your computer called SD Card Backup
3.Create 2 subfolders, one called FAT and another called EXT
4.Connect your phone to computer and set to Disk Drive mode

5.Copy all your SD card contents (FAT partition) into the FAT folder
6.Open Command Prompt/Terminal on your computer
7.Type: cd<space>
Make sure you use a space character, don’t type <space> and don’t press Enter yet!
8.Drag and Drop the EXT folder into your command window, and you’ll notice that the full path to your EXT directory appears
9.Press Enter
10.Set your phone USB connection to Charge Only
11.Type: adb pull /sd-ext/app .
Don’t forget that “.“!
Press Enter
12.Wait while all your apps are copied into your EXT folder
13.Once copied, insert your new SD card and use the same method you previously used to partition your new SD card as you want
I use the Amon RA recovery, flashed using Unrevoked. My partitions are: 4GB ext, 32MB swap (not really needed) and the rest as FAT
14.Connect your phone via USB again
15.In the command window, type: adb push . /sd-ext/app/
16.Wait whilst all your apps are copied back to your ext partition
17.Copy all your FAT files back onto the FAT partition

since ly.net forbidden paypal selling, got a hard time to find someone selling paypal....

Last time I also experience can't install angry bird on my rooted rom. What I did is I push it trough adb

@ tyja, zamanjaafar - sorry, guys... am being unclear again. What i meant was i not linking it to market but i just hop over to the apps website and do the purchase either with Paypal or Credit Cards. Not through the market, tried enabling market but the transaction wont recognize the Malaysian credit cards...

p.s. RCMixHD v0.13 has settled down after half a day and is smooth now and quick too... not bad

How come market not recognize Malaysian credit card... Then i use wat..? XD Anyway if you want to use malaysian credit or debit card... link it using ur PC not your phone...

Yes, it uses data2ext.
I have internal storage of 2GB (As per ext partition), after restored all my apps/games now left 1.5GB++, everything works fine now except the known issue of 720p video recording.

its not the app problem...i try updating my Jewels game also failed...tried copy to card also i cant install...

i ran the disk util from my win7...no problem detected...

thanx bro...will try this method later tonite....
