My friend is a blogger and he is not satisfy with the normal camera , he would like to buy a new DSLR , among D3000, D3100 and D5000 , which suit him most?

Hmm.. cuz i was thinking 1 lens could serve all the purpose when traveling. Is it not that good to invest in a lens such as 18-200 ? and i came across some review saying that the 60D rear wheel control button is hard to press, it is true?

so which will you guys suggest?

Top up 100 more for a Sony Alpha A33 or you can get a Nex 3.

Not reli. Multipurpose lens would serve better but reduce IQ compared to other lens.
And 60D's dial not very hard to twist.

he just give me this three model~~ i think his budget is up to the price of D5000 ~~

erm.. i'm sorry, but IQ in a sense of what? can you further explain it? i'm also worrying about the downside of 1 versatile lens

what is your purpose of the camera?

if its just casually shooting without any demanding requirements from your side the 18-200 should do a good job.

If he willing to look elsewhere, sony has A33. IF not, D3100 is the best for his budget, i think. No AF motor still @.@

IQ = Image Quality.

Versitile lens do not have "GREAT" IQ. They usually have decent IQ.

Nothing much to fear since you are travelling lol.

Sony A33 has panaroma sweep if that is what you mean from your post. Otherwise, Canon would do fine also for you. Budget, not stated?

samsung st550/600 - dual screen and beauty shot ( i guess my fren will love this function)

18-55 kit lens.
Try Sony A55 or perhaps A33 twin kit. If not, you got 550D from Canon.

Oh well, thanks guys.. i didn't make it to look at the thread before i bought the D7000.. so now, is the 18-105 lens instead of the 18-200 .. Hope i didn't get to use the remaining 95mm and start ranting and regretting.. XD

Erm, there's always a chance 2 UPGRADE

Canon 550D, D3100 and Sony A33 n A55.

Its down to 550D n A33 for you. Both are quite decent, but A33 has a twin kit for the price of 2.5k lol.
