Blackwidow is really a nice keyboard. The sound does can get noisy for others around you, but if you're the one typing, you'll be smiling wide at the feedback you get from each key clicks. My only gripe is the extra column of macro keys at the far left. I wish there is a plastic cover to cover up that whole column so that I won't press them. I always tried to alt+tab, but I hit the macro keys instead of the tab key. Or control+c or control+v, I will miss the control key cause my mind keep telling me control key is far bottom left.....
Any such plastic cover to cover up that column of macro keys? |

QUOTE(BlueBerry~ @ Jan 18 2011, 02:37 PM) Actually did that, but then saw the base of the keyboard, it will easily gather dust and whatever inside. Then thought of how bout just put plaster over it so dust won't get in, but the keys are protruding out, so won't get and even surface. The idea bout binding them to tab and control actually might work, will give it a try. |

mech kb is more of a personal taste..its you like it or not so does the choices of switch
other factor like nkro too falls down to user as well, i dont play games that require movement of a octopus to press so many keys at once or im so skillful to press so many keys at once so i cant be bothered but if this the case blackwidow is certainly dissapointing since its marketed for gamers |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Jan 18 2011, 12:53 PM) Those game should be okay. Dota and SC2 are actually require double for some time. Change to BW for that 2 game are quite reasonable. (assuming, item warkey having same key with your skill)The main concern will be FPS and game like o2jam which require high KRO and fast double tab(blue switch register point is high and you need to release it then press again to double tab) Added on January 18, 2011, 12:54 pm If you always hit the macro key, why dont just bind the key to Tab/Ctrl? Added on January 18, 2011, 12:56 pm This time stock many? Enough to last till PC fair at MVEC this end of month? BW design is quite a failure for me, the macro button column just too close to the alphabet keyboard. If you can release another BWv2 with the macro for another 1inch away then will be better. Added on January 19, 2011, 12:09 pm QUOTE(PowerSlide @ Jan 18 2011, 03:26 PM) mech kb is more of a personal taste..its you like it or not so does the choices of switch Most of the ordinary case, mechanical did improve people typing speed and accuracy.other factor like nkro too falls down to user as well, i dont play games that require movement of a octopus to press so many keys at once or im so skillful to press so many keys at once so i cant be bothered but if this the case blackwidow is certainly dissapointing since its marketed for gamers Unless you cant get use to the higher key caps profile of most of the mechanical keyboard, maybe can choose MY switches which has very low profile. For gaming, type of switches can improve the speed of double tap or even triple tap even you not clicking lots of keys in 1 shot. Thats because membrane switch need longer respond time to refresh for another key stroke. Added on January 19, 2011, 12:10 pm QUOTE(asepa @ Jan 19 2011, 12:06 AM) Cyber clean can get from lot retailer in LYP.Both cyber clean and keyboard protector not high price range product, not really worth to ship it. Added on January 19, 2011, 12:13 pm QUOTE(rc2x @ Jan 19 2011, 02:53 AM) Hi all, any of you guys know how to clean rubberized death adder surface without making the surface sticky afterwards? Only way is wipe it with dry micro fiber cloth, don't attempt it with any moisture stuff, it definitely make it sticky to dust and lost grip after long period. This post has been edited by jasmineivan: Jan 19 2011, 12:13 PM |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Jan 19 2011, 01:43 PM) Maybe cost RM100 extra? aah.. so the brand is vztec. 450cm. i dont know how long this kb. hahha lazy to measure. anyway thanks for that info. It should be ML switch? MY switch is the semi mechanical(membrane switch). I think he already using the cyber clean and now looking for a thing like keyboard protector. BTW, the one i mention may only fit 95% of lycosa(and 85% of BW due to macro keys). LYP got sell at RM15(thunder match). Last time All IT sell at RM9. |

If it's working on both their PC's but not yours, obviously something is wrong with your PC instead. At the same time, these keyboards are reliable. |

Gaaaaaaaaa it seems that my Razer Blackwidow's spacebar sometimes stuck so it seems like I'm holding it down. It's friggin' annoying especially when you play FPS games like COD4.
When I was rushing mid, I was sprinting as normal and made a strafe jump, then for some reason I was not running anymore. Then boom, got naded. Why? Because when the space bar is held down, you can't sprint! How can I replace it for a new one? I mean well does it take some time to RMA it? My holiday is just starting.. so yea |
