Well, new stocks for BlackWidow Ultimate have already arrived. It should reach many retailers within these few days.

Blackwidow is really a nice keyboard. The sound does can get noisy for others around you, but if you're the one typing, you'll be smiling wide at the feedback you get from each key clicks. My only gripe is the extra column of macro keys at the far left. I wish there is a plastic cover to cover up that whole column so that I won't press them. I always tried to alt+tab, but I hit the macro keys instead of the tab key. Or control+c or control+v, I will miss the control key cause my mind keep telling me control key is far bottom left.....

Any such plastic cover to cover up that column of macro keys?

Actually did that, but then saw the base of the keyboard, it will easily gather dust and whatever inside. Then thought of how bout just put plaster over it so dust won't get in, but the keys are protruding out, so won't get and even surface.

The idea bout binding them to tab and control actually might work, will give it a try.

mech kb is more of a personal taste..its you like it or not so does the choices of switch

other factor like nkro too falls down to user as well, i dont play games that require movement of a octopus to press so many keys at once or im so skillful to press so many keys at once so i cant be bothered but if this the case blackwidow is certainly dissapointing since its marketed for gamers

i wanna ask ah. do they sell keyboard protector for arctosa type? because mine was very dirty d. anyway how do you clean in. i use the rubber type thing sell at shop. but it only take dust, not prevent it. =.=

Otherwise you can find those that you'll have to cut it on your own, should fit nicely if you cut nicely.

Dota and SC2 are actually require double for some time. Change to BW for that 2 game are quite reasonable. (assuming, item warkey having same key with your skill)

BW design is quite a failure for me, the macro button column just too close to the alphabet keyboard.
If you can release another BWv2 with the macro for another 1inch away then will be better.

Unless you cant get use to the higher key caps profile of most of the mechanical keyboard, maybe can choose MY switches which has very low profile.

For gaming, type of switches can improve the speed of double tap or even triple tap even you not clicking lots of keys in 1 shot. Thats because membrane switch need longer respond time to refresh for another key stroke.

Added on January 19, 2011, 12:13 pmOnly way is wipe it with dry micro fiber cloth, don't attempt it with any moisture stuff, it definitely make it sticky to dust and lost grip after long period.

whatever. Wisma Academy. im terribly confused and upset. my keyboard clearly isnt working on my PC but it works on TWO of their office PC. one is running Windows XP. i saw it work! but they dont want exchange. i come back update everything, including my razer firmware, still not working.

If it's working on both their PC's but not yours, obviously something is wrong with your PC instead. At the same time, these keyboards are reliable.

Gaaaaaaaaa it seems that my Razer Blackwidow's spacebar sometimes stuck so it seems like I'm holding it down. It's friggin' annoying especially when you play FPS games like COD4.

When I was rushing mid, I was sprinting as normal and made a strafe jump, then for some reason I was not running anymore. Then boom, got naded. Why? Because when the space bar is held down, you can't sprint!

How can I replace it for a new one? I mean well does it take some time to RMA it? My holiday is just starting.. so yea
