The consolation for us fans who live in Malaysia is that this defeat and CUPSET is not a big thing..no one cares who Newcastle are..no one cares who Stevenage are..and there are no Sunderland fans to pick on us..and not many fans of clubs like Man United, Liverpool or Chelsea who will torture us at work..
But do avoid from watching Astro Supersport channels..coz DEZ COCKHILL will treat this defeat Newcastle who he has no relation at all with like we have been relegated from the Premier League..he will talk shite about us and completely forget that Newcastle beat Liverpool 3-1 and we are above them in the Premier League table with his so called 'Championship' players..
Fans in England will be living a nightmare this few days..the only way we can overcome this bad memory is by beating Sunderland at the Stadium of Darkness next Sunday..
Everyone now seems so worried about who will replace Cheik 'Unsmart' Tiote for the match..I call him unsmart coz sometimes he just do daft things with his tackling..like yesterday and like at purs when he was already booked but was not clever enough not to get involved in confrontation with Spurs' players..
I actually have a bigger worry..not for defensive midfielder role..but striker..who the heck is going to get us goals? Carroll is obviously our top scorer but boy did we miss Ameobi also..he has a unique sense of unpredictability..and to be honest, we really need Ameobi for the Sunderland match coz he has the best scoring record against them..I think its even better than Shearer..
Lovenkrands was very poor last night..shocking and nowhere to getting on the end of chances..Best was jumping in the air everytime as if he was going to punch somebody..Nile Ranger? not even worth a mention from me..Phil Airey..? Phil who???
1 question..what is the point of trying to get David Bentley or Seb Larson to get great crosses in the box when there is no one to get on the end of it? I think only Carroll who will get on the end of most of it and most probably score..Ameobi has his days..Best is still untetsted witha aerial ability..Ranger and Lovenkrans? Forget them..
I ont care how we are gonna score but we need another proven striker..u can ask Barton and Larsson to whip in crosses all day long but if there aint no quality strikers to receive, whats the point..
sorry for the long pot..its just a bad Sunday morning..
p/s.. Jose and Jonas would have been suited to play against opponents like Stevenage..dribbling and one twos would have given us better chances to get past them..Routledge got behind them once or twice but had no support or quality to cross..
Finally,
THERE'S ONLY ONE STEVE HARPER..ONE STEVE HARPER..

Pardew says Newcastle will appeal the Tiote red card..the appeal will be heard before the mackems match..
actually..what chane do we have to overturn the red card..??? I think virtually none..
There are many anti-Newcastle people working at the FA..there have been cases this season that they are ot to ruin our lives..in some matches, we have players who have not received a red car yet they receive the incidents and give them 3 math suspensions..Barton vs Blackburn and Williamson vs Bolton..so what chance a sent-off player Tiote has? even Joey Barton swearing to Torres was undr review yet they say De Jong breaking Ben Arfa's leg is okey..
The F.A is stupid..if we do get a good decision, either the F.A have suddenly turn good, or Pardew and LLambias have offered the F.A people casino coupons to spend this summer..
Added on January 11, 2011, 4:31 pmTamas Kadar has joined Huddersfield Town on a one month long loan deal.. Has Pardew have a replacement in mind for him considering Campbell could only leave to Arsenal?

Carroll out of derby..Sunderland shouldnt be too happy bout this..he didnt even score in that 5-1 win for us..they must be afraid of Super Shola the Derby Specialist!!! BTW, Steve Bruce is so childish wanna hit back at us if we lose the game..he wanna play a song over the PA system at the Stadium of Darkness to rub it in to us..gosh..he is a sore loser after we played Sunderland's anthem after our win but with the changed lyrics.. Hope we win so that we can sing it again.. CHEER UP STEVEY BRUCE..OWH WHAT CAN IT MEAN TO A...SAD MACKEM B******d and a Shite football team..!!! check out these videos..absolutely love it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHkgXGzsX4whttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZc7vys9wJAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fFx6Kfgl8Y

Agree +1000 wif arcaloveher..i was already settling for a draw before the match but seeing how good and organised we were, that draw tastes like defeat now..
Best performance of the season by Coloccini..absolutely superb at the back..no complaints at all about any of our players..including Smith..dont be too harsh on him guys..and im talking bout this game..im sure some will still have a dig at him which is unfair..
WTF Steve Bruce is..a really SAD MACKEM CUSTARD!!! he celebrated that goal as if Sunderland had just beaten us 5-1!!! Im pretty damn sure, if he was not a Sundeland manager, he would have been dissapointed like all of us rite now..im sure he would have celebrated like that when we beat the mackems 5-1 if he had not been their manager..
Mark my words..some Sunderland fans are embarrassed by his celebration considering they only drew 1-1 and it was a lucky goal at that..Sunderland fans deep down will know they were lucky..
At least Bruce couldnt play his 'secret' song to celebrate a win against us..padan muka..
CHEER UP STEVEY BRUCE..OWWHH WHAT CAN IT MEAN TO A..SAD MACKEM CUSTARD AND A SHITE FOOTBALL TEAM..!!!

QUOTE(arcaloveher @ Jan 16 2011, 11:31 PM) Haha, think it was due to the fact that he live in UK for a period of time when he was younger, not sure whether is was in Newcastle? So I guess the 'extra' hatred towards 5under1and was instilled in him since then Cute bird Anyone else thinks that Guthrie is under performing again today? Fair enough, he's long ball were good, but he's work rate was appalling, clumsy in getting stuck in and always attempt to pass around to the nearest teammate possible without moving himself I like the look of Gosling from his part towards the end At least we have more options now, other than Smith, though he did pretty well today, no yellow Yup..ur right arcaloveher..i did live in Newcastle for 4 and a half years..SJP was just 15minutes away from my home..hated Sunderland ever since i lived there..it was like heaven when we beat them so ive carried it on here..we are lucky in Malaysia there arent any mackem fans..at least that I know of..in Newcastle its like crazy if we win and like hell if we lose..so getting 4 points of them and them not beating us this season is great..if we fiish above them this season, it would be brilliant.. owh yeah..Stevey Bruce can go on and sing whatever song he likes.............in his own freakin bathroom that is..!!!! haha on an unsavory note though..seems like a mackem fan came onto the itch and had a confrontation with Harper..not sure what happened but Harper was said tp be on the ground..SAD MACKEM CUSTARD!!!!

QUOTE(HelicalGear @ Jan 17 2011, 12:01 AM) bad debut for Gosling though a bit harsh that me think? It was his first game in like a year and only got less than 10 minutes..im sure he would turn out to be a gem like the other Hughton signings this season..

QUOTE(ykc @ Jan 17 2011, 12:16 AM) for real? everyone thought he was a newcastle fan nope man..from the incident itself, everyone knew he was a Stevenage fan as he came onto to the pitch from the Stevenage hone fans stand of the ground..anyway, no Newcastle fan would be dumb enough to run onto the pitch to celebrate a defeat..hehe..that Stevenage fan was just more than dumb..haha..im sure he would have been dead if he was one on one with gangsta Joey or A-Team Tiote..

Harper was barged over by a mackem..not punched..f***in' dirty stupid sad mackem custard..couldnt be thankful Harper pushed the ball onto Gyan for that equaliser..mackem fans have ran onto to the pitch against us on more than one occasion..the last before this one turned violent..but the FA take no action..are they gonna do anything about this Harper incident?? if it was at SJP or a Newcastle fan, sure they take action and make us pay..FA run by a mackem!! Pardew called him that fan STUPID..Pardew..i couldnt agree more.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/e...rem/9363384.stmThis post has been edited by dxjb: Jan 17 2011, 02:48 AM

I would say 5 was too much..minimum 3 and maximum 4.. Either way, Howard Webb was awful last night..he books Joey Barton for an unintentional handball yet he does not even book a single late challenge on Joey himself..if Joey had made those challenges, he would have gone off straight away..
BTW, about the Nolan chicken dance.. In the summer during training, Kevin lost a bet with the other players.. To pay that bet, the players wanted him to do a silly celebration every time he scored a goal this season.. Its proving to be a good luck charm aint it..???
FUNNY CHICKEN DANCE FTW!!!

QUOTE(THE ZUL @ Jan 17 2011, 07:52 PM) wow never know bout it, but it looks cool thou! 10 goals yo dirty mackems now bent available on white version. Haha..im gonna go one better..Bent now wants to leave the mackems..damn that just made my day..a fan with a Bent shirt comes on to the pitch and shoves Harper down..now, the day after the derby, the mackems are stunned the real 'bent' has stand up and said he wants to leave them..that is a sucker punch to those mackems..take that u sad mackem custards..!!! This could happen to us if Carroll goes but everyone knows Carroll is wanted by many clubs..but Bent out of the blue? haha.. BTW..this could be the weirdest day ever..somehow on God's green earth, Nile Ranger managed to score a hatrick..i repeat..Nile Ranger managed to score a BLOODY DAMN FREAKIN HATRICK in a reserve match against Wigan..how on earth did he do it? No doubting his ability but a hatrick? Really? He couldnt even put a ball into an empty net and cant even control the ball most of the time and yet he could score 3 goals in a reserves match..i hope this is a confidence booster for him and hope he comes back a changed player and can start banging in the goals..if he doesnt, he will always be regarded as a star......in the reserves that is.. and for the icing on the cake on a weird day..JAMES PERCH SCORED in that match too.. QUOTE(arcaloveher @ Jan 18 2011, 12:56 AM) Wigan's reserves must be shite, cause even Perch score! Reminds me of the 'even Chopra score! 4-1' chant i think u mean the 'even Luque scored! 4-1 chant.. anyways..Perch scored just to make sure Ranger knew it was a shite team they were playing..if Perch didnt score and Ranger got that hat trick, Ranger would have thought he is great again..haha

Apparently, the song Steve Bruce wanted to be played had the mackems thrashed us on Sunday was 'WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?' by the Baha men..not a great choice compared to the song we played after the the 5-1 win at SJP..
But I think that song will now backfire on Bruce..lets just change the lyrics shall we?
WHO LET THE BENT OUT?! BRUCE..BRUCE..BRUCE..BRUCE..BRUCE..
Haha..the sad dirty mackems are in total disarray..hope their season falls apart now..they were dreaming of Europe this season..how sweet will it be if we were to get that ahead of them in our return to the Premier League this season..

John Carver would have been my second choice after Steve Clarke so it does seem a good choice..at least Pardew has someone who knows the club as his assistant and has been there before..
On transfer news though..seems that Wayne Routledge is on his way back to QPR on loan with an option yo make it a permanent transfer at the end of it..surely Pardew has a replacement in mind..I dont believe Pardew would let Routledge go unless he has a new signing lined up..Larsson deal back on perhaps?
N now that Robbie Keane is not going to Birmingham, I dont see him having a better choice to go to than coming to SJP and partner Carroll up front..going to Birmingham would have been bad for him as City dont play on the ground football like we do..but his wages is the stumbling block of course..

QUOTE(arcaloveher @ Jan 19 2011, 12:04 AM) Added on January 19, 2011, 1:50 amBent's deal to Villa is done and seems like Bruce is leaving them as well Everything falling apart? lolz Any thoughts on Bent? No doubt he is a good player and in the last 5 seasons he has scored 81 goals, only behind Drogba and Rooney (source: Here) Well worth the £18m that could potentially reach £24m? I dont think so, if its around £10m, then I'd say bring him in, even though he played for the scums good player but u can see what money does to the player..loses form and money comes in for him and he grabs it eventhough the mackems are better than Villa at the moment.. Bruce leaving them too?

QUOTE(ykc @ Jan 19 2011, 03:50 PM) Added on January 19, 2011, 6:19 pmshaun wright phillip link rumours resurfaced ... are we able to match his salary at man city? SWP is just an upgraded version of Wayne Routledge but with ridiculous wages..I would rather have Routledge not performing and unable to cross a ball than paying SWP big wages when he does the same thing as Routledge..better have Ryan Taylor than SWP.. I would have agreed saying Ryan Taylor free kick is better than Barton..but if u look at the stats this season, we have scored 13 goals from set plays and most of them are from Barton..we are only 2nd behind Blackburn in scoring the most goals from set plays.. n just 1 little thing..i thought Ryan Taylor was poor just before his injury..there were games he played but he too failed miserably in crossing the ball..free kick wise, his shots are more on target than Barton but Barton has been sensational this season with his crossing, long balls, and even through balls..brilliant..

I know before this I said I wanted us to sign Steven Ireland since he is having a crap time at Villa and I thought Chris Hughton would have probably got him if he wanted so..
Today, it is rumoured that Villa are happy to let him come to us on loan..but Im'm not sure he is what we need right now..I think we still need a striker to partner Carroll although I have to say Ameobi is doing fine right now..and Best is finding his feet at the club..
n seeing Alan Smith is out for the rest of the season we have no backup for Tiote, could Pardew sign Ireland and play him in the middle with Nolan and Barton stay out wide as a right midfielder? Ireland could be the creative midfielder we need to unlock the defence..but I think Ben Arfa could play on the right eventually and Gosling also has the ability to play there too..
Anyways..the Ireland story is just a rumour although I do think we will get some layers in before the window shuts..
on a final note though, we might have seen Alan Smith play for the last time in a Newcastle shirt..and im not happy about it..in fact, im sad bout it..yes, people will always bash him as a bad player..the only thing he did consistently for us was picking up yellow cards..but I will never ever question his commitment to the team..he is prepared to do anything and put his body on the line for the team..;ast season, he was a true captain of our team, leading us back into the Premier League..true enough, his performance is often criticised but for me, Alan Smith will always be regarded as 'pne of those player' who stood up and wanted to fight for the club after we lost 6-1 to Leyton Orient in a preseason friendly last season..he, Nolan and Barton will always be remembered as the voice f the dressing room..
n how appropriate, should Smith played his last game for the club, it was because he was putting his body on the line against our fiercest rivals the mackems..just like Shearer who played his last game for the club at the Stadium of Darkness..

QUOTE(Zer0 c00L @ Jan 21 2011, 01:23 PM) don't know bout Vuckic but on the rare occasions that i've seen him, he doesn't seem like he's ready for the pace of the game, just somehow doesn't seem up to pace or sharpness yet... agree with u on this one..Vuckic is great in the reserves..brilliant player..but this season, in the Carling Cup matches against Accrington Stanley, Chelsea and Arsenal, I thought he is not ready..when he got on the ball, he was either too nervous or very slow in passing off the ball or was easily shoved of the ball..on occasions he did do something with it, he did shpw some fantastic touches so technically, this lad has the talent..
