no offence for TS , but from my opinion, dxjb could be a very good TS .. you r so active in this thread man..this thread is far better
than M.City thread if you ask me.  smile.gif  but since the old TS still want himself to be the only TS, then we should respect his decision.  smile.gif
just pointing out my opinion.  tongue.gif

CH SACKED!!! icon_idea.gif

Newcastle United have sacked Chris Hughton, just 13 months after he was first named the club's manager on a permanent basis.

A statement on Newcastle's official website said: "Newcastle United Football Club have today parted company with manager Chris Hughton. Goalkeeping coach Paul Barron also leaves the club today.

"The board would like to place on record their thanks to Chris for his considerable efforts during the club's transition from Championship to Premier League football. Chris has shown exceptional character and commitment since being appointed manager in October 2009. The club wishes him well for the future.

"Regrettably the board now feels that an individual with more managerial experience is needed to take the club forward. The task of appointing a new manager now begins. An announcement will be made shortly regarding transitional arrangements pending the appointment of a successor."

oh man ... this is just shocking! i thought the last thing we need is change manager, because we need stability in the club.

Ridiculous seriously!
If its wasn't for Hughton, we wouldn't be back into the BPL in just a single season.
Yes, there were a couple of bad patches recently, and our home form wasn't convincing, especially against lesser teams
Dont forget he is still learning his trade as a main man after being 2nd best for so many years
We won 6-0 against Villa, 5-1 against the mackems and even won away against Arsenal this season,
Moreover we're not even in the relegation zone! So what crisis is there? Our main aim is avoiding the drop this season and we're heading in the right direction atm
How does this warrant a sack, absolutely idiotic move by ashley
No wonder the contract talk was delayed for so long, fckin ashley already has this under his sleeves for a long time
Hoots maybe tactically inept at times, still I believe he should be given the chance to at least manage til the end of the season
Thats the least that he DESERVED after all that hard work done in the championship
Respect the man FFS, ungrateful basket ashley

OMG!!! My heart just got crushed listening to the news from Fanzone on Astro Supersport 3..i cant believe it..WTF is Ashley thinking..who the heck is he gonna take as manager? I see our team falling apart now..the team loved Chris and worked hard for him.. alot of the players became better playing under Chris..Barton, Carroll, Collocini, Jose Enrique..all those players became a better player working under CH..what happens to them now..?

CH is a legend in my eyes..he did a fantastic job while he was here and we will always be grateful for what he did ..he wasnt doing that bad and Ashley again does the thing that people hate the most..sack the manager..Now we know why Ashley didnt help CH get an assistant to replace Colin Calderwood..

Thanks for the memories CH..u are a true Toon Legend..

Who next? O'Neill? Rjikaard? Curbishley? or JOE F***ing KINNEAR???

I was just thinking earlier this afternoon that Avram Grant was still in the job at West Ham eventhough they are bottom of the league and it's already December..and we didnt have any managerial sacking in the Premier League yet this season in December but now we know who and im totally crushed that CH is the man to get it..devastated for him..

Seriously, Hoots deserve MUCH better treatment than this, feckin wanker ashley
Yup, he was the perfect man for the job, all the players liked him, and most importantly he brought stability back into our club which is something that has been missing for a long time.
Now we have to start from scratch again

Dont think any reputable manager will be sane enough to manage our club because feckin ashley is so hard to pleased and unpredictable, not to mention STINGY
He expects manager to do wonders with limited funds with a paper thin squad, crazy really

Gona miss Hughton, all the best to him and his future coaching career cry.gif

It just goes to show how stupid Chairmen can be.

Hughton brought stability to a volatile club, as well as promotion and mid-table in the Premiership
How much more does LOL Ashley want apart from "an individual with more managerial experience is needed to take the club forward".

As for Keegan, even LOL Ashley can't be that stupid again, and given that Martin o'Neill left Villa due to lack of spending power, who does that leave? Paul Jewell, Phil Brown?

*sigh* I feel sorry for the Newcastle fans.

Ashley should have probably just sold the club when we were promoted..that would have been the best thing for all parties..

I wont be surprised if tomorrow Ashley is assassinated or his helicopter crashed in the woods somewhere in England after lift off in the cold..

He is now number 1 enemy and also a criminal in many Newcastle people eyes..

Newcastle gonna face consequences. CH has been a tremendous manager for Newcastle since the era of Sir Bobby Robson. Now I want to see Mike Ashley's face when he found out so many people criticize his action. I can forsee booing throughout the whole match on upcoming Newcastle game. tongue.gif
