QUOTE(GIGGS_11 @ Nov 29 2010, 01:59 PM) Huah... 37 years ago today, a legend was born. no worries mate, giggs will always be with us even if he has hanged up his boots.all the years down that wing wont go off easily.Very worry this will be his final season as player with Man Utd Great weekend for us, it's weird that we won 2-0 against 9 men but 7-1 against Blackburn. Must be the power of Old Traford... let's kill Liverpool in our Theater of Dreams QUOTE(alien2003 @ Nov 29 2010, 08:32 PM) I would think its partially sealed with Amos getting ahead in the pecking order for bench GK before the Blackburn match. well still tom was on the bench for the rovers game, so he got back there if so to speak.QUOTE(GIGGS_11 @ Nov 29 2010, 10:08 PM) Amazing Giggs scored an amazing goal... cayalah touche'Some proud moments of Giggs that we always cherish - Scored Man Utd quickest goal... 16 sec - No red card in his entire Man Utd career - Most appearances record - Most decorated British player - Wonder goal against Arsenal - First ever hattrick for Man Utd the wizard flies on~ |

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Nov 30 2010, 01:30 AM) ahh i see. thought it was all already cooled back down. damn those media's. Frankly, in term of individual effort, Ronaldo is better for me i think. I dont know about La Liga 2/3 seasons back, but it seems really2x easy to score in La Liga, every game easily results to 5-1, 6-0 and stuffs. So i think while ronaldo was still here, messi was busy scoring for fun over there. But when ronaldo came to la liga, the competition went a little tight between thsoe two. Ronaldo is leading by goals, but messi is leading by average goals per game. man cant wait for the big game later. as a united suppoter, i would want to show my support to ronaldo but im also a fan of messi. i wish the both of them good luck. But i think what Messi has in advantage is the midfield. Xavi-Iniesta is like damn terrifying. Im not saying the likes of Ozil and Xabi Alonso is not, but Xavi, he just have that special talent in passing. That is why i think messi didnt perform well in the world cup. Argentina has undoubtedly a great midfield, but not too good to feed Messi with the ball. Although Messi showed some individuals skills, but i thought Ronaldo outshined him more. Somehow, i dont know why, every team can have 2 people on guard against Ronaldo but only one defender marking Messi |

offside given goals, penalty miss, hit the post, fights, red cards, broken legs...all the makings of a good el clasico...
think that suits the merseyside derby better |

QUOTE(mhyug @ Nov 30 2010, 12:40 AM) scoring draw ok la, makes for a good game for neutrals but for their respective fans, it would be a chance missed to capitalize. I'd predict a narrow win for RM (because of Jose is at the helm, and Ronaldo), and it won't be that high scoring since both team will play more carefully, defend more tightly...2-1, or 3-2This post has been edited by dlct87: Nov 30 2010, 12:45 AM |

It just like us against our rivals right? Shall the best team won tonight and please a lot of dramasQUOTE(dlct87 @ Nov 30 2010, 12:45 AM) I'd predict a narrow win for RM (because of Jose is at the helm, and Ronaldo), and it won't be that high scoring since both team will play more carefully, defend more tightly...2-1, or 3-2 It would be nice if RM won at Nou Camp and Barca won at S.Barnebau. Please no tight game tonight. At least make it interesting like Spurs vs Pool last night or better. Come on Jose, just slides just the way Porto win against us in CL |

It's difficult to say who is the best and 2nd best, eventhough most people would say Messi is better..Both players play quite differently, and in different teams too..If Messi goes to other teams/leagues, it's hard to guarantee that he can perform to the level he is at now..
I personally am on the fence with this one, both imo are heads and shoulders above the rest at the moment and is special in their own way.. |
