so hows every one doing after a united 100% performance??yeah its just one game but weve going on the right direction alright.

the rooney verdict:
as always he will be under the microscope now.it used to be berbs but it s him now.deserves the MOTM.his play, creativity, defending, and will was exceptional today.were starting to see the old wayne back here.glad to hear ot chant his name all the way.no goals but it will be coming veruy soon.he has moe then redeemed himself today.to the fans, the gaffer, the club and most important of all to his team mates.

We have to wait till the next game to confirm we are back in the groove. Blackburn at home is 'easy'.

as long as he performed, i don't care whether he score or not....the team was really fired up tonight, and i think is because of Rooney's runs and passes, and his commitment to the game
*
agreed.his performance tonight remembered me to the ronaldo era.rooney always provided the cover, the runs, the passes for him to score.the ever unselfishness rooney.even at 7 up he still didnt push to far instead opened up chances for others.

Yup. We know we had it in us. But for some reason or another, we can't last it longer than 30mins or something each match. The one thing that improved a lot is the movement. There was constant movement ahead for us to pass to. That's good to see. before this it wasn't that good. As long as the movement is there, which would create space and what not, the midfielders will find someone to pass to.
*
i blame it on the long balls.were not the type for the long ones.were th slick short passes then see where it goes kind of team and our play was built on that.

and i think having back the likes of ando, carrick, rooney whom are exceptional passers aids in that.last layer to hit 5 was best.irony berba did it in the week we remember him.

r.i.p best notworthy.gif we will never forget!

time for scholes and giggs to step down??i mean maybe more time for likes of ando and carrick to find their permanent stable partnership...but i knew we will reply on the old players again coz some of them will be out of form somehow :'(
*
not yet mate, not yet.both of them are still doing great so why stop that??.

but i do see a dilemma here.who to pick for the double header??ando and carrick justified their claim today while we can always depend on giggs and scholes.but i guess any of these 4 who starts come dec 13 and the week after, we can expect the same high level of showing plus we can look up to them on the bench too wch is more then wonderful. laugh.gif

btw apa fletch doing on the bench??gaffer employing mind games ka?? biggrin.gif

It's not as simple as that. We had Scholes, Rooney, Ronaldo back then as well. But we struggled to score more than a goal each game, until everything clicked(Ando first season, first time in CM), and we repeat the same sort of performance for a few games on the bounce. Slow starters.. and it's proven that we are.

Ando's passing tonight..

i thought you talked about this season??back then we were still playing those slick passes.even when ronaldo was here, it wasnt always the case for long balls.i noticed we started to lob them high over during last season, before rooney had his fantastic run and nani stepped up.the same happen this early this season when were deprived of some players.tho our passing game was brilliant in one other game this season wch was the 3-3 draw at goodison park.

in any case we always had that talent for passing, just as you said that squad "gelling/clicking" is a factor but what some times annoys me our players forget their passing when in a dire situation.but that all often changes when giggs or scholes steps in.

if were talking about scoring, involves a host of factors too.luck, errors, eye for the goal etc etc.but football in general, gone were the days where goals galore.as the game become more and more technical, result driven we rarely see tams freely expressing themselves and rack up the goals.

78 Total Passes
65 Completed Passes
12 Unsuccessful
1 Assist

Added on November 28, 2010, 1:50 amWe lob them forward because we just can't find a way to get through on the ground unless we pass it sideways/backwards. Movement have been good tonight. That's a big difference IMO.
*
yeap.that movement/passes was key.i agree with that.only at times we leave that "out" of our game wch disappoints us.

berba take this ball home oso ka?? icon_idea.gif

Hopefully Ando will do a Nani. All this talk about our midfield will stop. We really need him to be on song. Scholes replacement is right under our nose.
*
touche'.he still very young, got the talent, and he knows he can do it.today was one of them.i think right now all he needs is a helping hand in staying fit and games will come to him.so far except his 1st season here,he was dodged by injuries.

"It [the goal drought] had concerned me a little bit because when you're a striker people just tend to look at the number of goals you score, but, for me, my game isn't just about goals. It's about how you play and how you link-up with your team-mates

loh tahu pun....tp x mau buat. doh.gif

he should focus on the game then always contemplate and sulk about his scoring rate just as he said above.

EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United Winger Antonio Valencia Could Return In January Following NASA 'Water Torture' Treatment
http://www.goal.com/en/news/596/exclusive/...a-could-return-

Apparently the reason why Ronaldo and Rooney managed to recover so quickly for their injuries thumbup.gif
*
hoo this water treadmill, was in the mutv docu about carrington.and thats not all, we have another one wch works on less air, i.e some thing like the space(gravity etc)

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Nov 28 2010, 09:34 PM)
park is never a natural wide man that provided long crosses like valencia/obertan/nani/ronaldo.Park can cross, like everyone else but his main job is to outrun fullbacks, doing diagonal run to penalty box and provide extra man in the midfield.

it's like rooney before last season.park has to do the donkey work while other going to shine
*
beg to differ.he is perfect embodiment of a wide man.no fancy footwork, but a lot of speed and when he arrives at his target area bomb in the crosses or passes.besides parks simplicity in his play what makes him different then nani.nani is more on the new age winger, some thing like obertan whom always uses tricks, and fancy skills and every now then a good free kick.

valencia and park are the more traditional type, they dont go for goals unless there is less support and hold on to their main objective of supplying the forwards.

PLUS ONE!!

anyway, the water treatment reli makes sense. running/jogging inside helps exercise and strengthen the newly built tendons and muscles that were damaged, but it removes the unnecessary body weight which may put strain on the leg when doing these exercises. basic yet ingenious.

splendours of science these days.now if we can have a new high tech cure for owen it would be even great biggrin.gif
