I disagree. Instincts telling me that they will struggle with Stoke but play very well against Barcelona. Just my instincts though.

Can we please refrain from posting these kind of stuff, especially before those kind of games. Chelsea are strong you know and we haven't beat them at SB in ages.
And remember Monaco back then? We got knocked out by them.

Never underestimate teams..

Manchester United and Chelsea got relatively easy match

Tottenham too up to a point

it is Arsenal that i'm worried about.

hoping that all English clubs to advance to 1/8 final and possibly all english affair at wembley smile.gif

Hopefully there will be an English club in the Final, and hopefully it will be only Man Utd. IMO, if we make it to the Final, hopefully we won't be facing any English team. It will be boring so much seriously sweat.gif

totally agree.marseille is no push overs.what makes ppl think that the last 16 would be a cake walk??the only thing we can at least be happy about is that we dont need to travel far wch is a blessing in the tight schedule we have.

hmm i feel the same.but who knows stoke pun jd mcm fulham, whom let nasri hop around in their penalty box.seriously he was over hyped in that game.now im not saying this bcoz we won against them but look carefully at the fulham match, the defenders dont even do anything when he was there, not a challenge nor tackle.give vds that kind of freedom even he can score.nasri a very talented player in finding the goal but and equally talented defender can stop him, per say vida/rio.

as for their cl draw, i have a hunch that barca would get knocked out.last season gunners had a wave of injuries and were fighting for tooth and nail for a cl place in the league.if they can have their steady gk back in time for the tie, some how i see nasri and the guns new charges taking them past the catalans.this should barca's real test in cl, so far they havent been tested.

Marseille is French champions for pete's sake, it's like playing Lyon a few seasons back. Not the toughest, but not easy too. i think many just assume club stature (big club, small club) when determining "easy" or "difficult" tie sweat.gif

No clubs are considered "weak" when it comes to last 16 of UCL. They made it until this far so i believe they are almost equally competitive.

I voted/asked for French clubs because it's nearer to Motherland. No disrespect or whatsoever to them. Like the previous post, last 16 teams are no pushovers.

Less travel time, less fatigue issues. Better performance in the next BPL matches. That's all.

people are already prediciting the exit of arsenal after being handed the toughest Champions League tie of all four English clubs.

i wouldnt want to see arsenal go out so early in the game but its barcelona we're talking about here and looking at their season for this year, oh boi, im scared to even open my mouth.

but i wish arsenal good luck and hope they will prove me wrong.

come on, who wouldnt want to have the champions league english final at wembley ? yeah some of you might say its boring or so but looking back at the game we played chelsea at moscow, wouldnt you say its the best ever english final you've seen in champions league history ? the game went all the way to penalties just to decide the winner.

come on guys, what you say ? with me on this ? tongue.gif
