I would say another 2 or 3 games. Our link up play was terrific tonite. I have been waiting for this all season! Finally...

i blame it on the long balls.were not the type for the long ones.were th slick short passes then see where it goes kind of team and our play was built on that.

and i think having back the likes of ando, carrick, rooney whom are exceptional passers aids in that.last layer to hit 5 was best.irony berba did it in the week we remember him.

how about rooney's passing tonight? 

i thought you talked about this season??back then we were still playing those slick passes.even when ronaldo was here, it wasnt always the case for long balls.i noticed we started to lob them high over during last season, before rooney had his fantastic fun.the same happen this season when were deprived of some players.

in any case we always had that talent for passing, just as you said that squad gelling is a factor but what some times annoys me our players forget their passing when in a dire situation.but that all often changes when giggs or scholes steps in.

Do ya'll think Rooney is content with his current playing position?
I think he perform superbly yesterday, but his position yesterday was quite deep which he might not like(just like during the CR7 days)..

Though if I were to pick up on something to improve upon yesterday, (hey nothing is perfect right?), is the way we defend the Samba goal. Nobody challenge the ball, he basically got a free header inside a sea of united players. I guess the defence slacked coz of the massive gap. But not complaining, they "deserve" to slack if they can finish the job early. Just saying, If they defend that part well, wow..I can say a near perfect performance.

we might be buying big this Jan/summer and GK will be top of the list then. on Schweiny, if Ando can keep up his form, Haegreaves comeback and Scholesy longevity are all good then we are not going for him.

Salute to VDS. He done magnificently in Manchester United. We should snap him after Juve want to sell him though. He got brilliant career with United. I hope he can retire by holding the 19th this season

Again, it shows that our club is doing just fine(!) and that with or without Ronaldo, our scoring has not changed - here is evidence that other players have indeed stepped up.

im some how seeing that tom will stay.i do hope he stays.i mean if he is sure that vds leaves that means the spot is open for the taking.yes weve signed lindergard but he is practically untested.(was a reserve until last season, and lets be frank the norwegian league is a few steps down the ladder)

so tom might have a chance here if he can impress the gaffer like he did when we signed him back then.its open for any one whos willing to go the lengths for it.despite the stick he his been getting, wch is very weird since he has tough job of displacing one of the greats in the game, he still a very good gk as far as the epl is concerned.

Manchester United new boy Anders Lindegaard insists he has not moved to Old Trafford to simply sit on the bench. The Danish international will move to England from current club Aalesunds in December, but will not be eligible to play until January. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson expects current No.1 Edwin van der Sar to retire from playing at the end of the season and is considering bringing in another keeper after being linked with the likes of Maarten Stekelenburg, Manuel Neuer and David De Gea.

look at the highlight..nani didn't pass to rooney when he had the chance..if it's because he doesn't like rooney then it means trouble for us..

i think thats a bit harsh on tom.were jumping the gun on him now.when he played i see him giving the most, its only that chances are hard to come by.besides if we can hope for improvement on outfield players why not tom?.

just as you said, if the one we put as #1 doesnt work pout, tom could be the one to dish out his old self and prove his worth.

at times i really hate nani when he thinks that he can go all solo and not pass to anyone.

i also agree with dlct87, he was going for goal before trying to pass it to rooney which was a big failure.

he should've pass the ball early to rooney when they both entered the penalty box.

well, i hope he tries to do better next time.
