For once I know how it feels like supporting Chelsea when they trash opponents 6-8 goals

Though if I were to pick up on something to improve upon yesterday, (hey nothing is perfect right?), is the way we defend the Samba goal. Nobody challenge the ball, he basically got a free header inside a sea of united players. I guess the defence slacked coz of the massive gap. But not complaining, they "deserve" to slack if they can finish the job early. Just saying, If they defend that part well, wow..I can say a near perfect performance.

QUOTE(mhyug @ Nov 28 2010, 10:10 PM) huishh boxxy...put some comments!!dont just put names.you make me think they scored PLUS ONE!!kus semangat neh. anyway, the water treatment reli makes sense. running/jogging inside helps exercise and strengthen the newly built tendons and muscles that were damaged, but it removes the unnecessary body weight which may put strain on the leg when doing these exercises. basic yet ingenious. |

Charlie Adam is by far their best player, but the striker Varney seems to be scoring consistently, though maybe not commonly.
Anyway, something to divert a topic: Anyone remember David Bellion? |

eh Fortune of coz ingat. In fact he is quite a useful player himself, not a flop like Bellion and co. useful as a backup.

the one and only reason Butt cant make it to the first line up is because Keano and Scholesy is god mode back then, otherwise he will be regular. Having said that, he isn't a back up as well, he played a whole lot of games, either as starters or subs. check out wiki, about 30+ match a season.

QUOTE(Wan @ Nov 29 2010, 12:43 AM) He was first choice and scoring lots of goals for Bordeoux the last time I read about him. It was a season or two back though. Not sure if he's a regular now. by flop, i mean generally doesnt work out la. Flop doesnt have to be top-name-turn-bad...that's stereotyped by Berbaflop I don't think he should be considered as a flop. He wasn't bought to be fighting to places in the first team. He was brought in as a gamble. If it works out, great, if it doesn't, it doesn't bother us one bit kinda signing. He's the kind of signings teams do now and then. They saw the raw ingredient and thought it could turn into something better. But as is with most cases, not everything works out. We had Ole, Ruud, and Forlan and we operate with only one striker back then. |

Actually, based on my readings from United's history book and biographies of other legends, Butt appears to be the most promising of all the class of '92, ahead of Becks and Scholes. Like, he's the most mature among the group and in a sense, have the more experience.

Being knocked out? Pfft. The gaffer and players always say, win win and win, game by game. That's the mentality, why do you think we are back to back Carling Cup winners before this? That's why squad depth and rotation is so ever important to us, coz we can rely on different players for different matches, regardless of importance.
It's like 0809 season, we won league, carling cup and world club champions cup, lost out on FA Cup in semi finals only to penalties, and final UCL only to lose to Barca which isn't a humiliating result anyway. That season highlights how much United wanna win every single trophy there is. This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Nov 30 2010, 03:29 PM |

QUOTE(legendofhafiz @ Nov 30 2010, 03:51 PM) I'm just being realistic. Of course we want the players to win and win. This is a new team and it is a bit different since the departure Ronaldo and Tevez. It is good that we just 'clicked' and being on form despite unconvincing start. We will see how far we can go. I hope nobody blaming any youngster or reserve tonight fail to win. We shall see if they have the same desire to win. yeah realistic is one thing, i also dont think the team can win every single team, so maybe sacrifice something and go full force on the other (something like Wolves fielding a weak side against MU in order to play full strength against a more realistic target). however, putting United into that analogy, Wolves would play full squad even against MU with the hope of winning it. Maybe against West Ham yeah, can field reserves/young players, but if the team is say Arsenal instead of WH, no doubt SAF will field most of the starters as well, if not all.It shouldn't worrying anybody if we lose but of course another win will be good. (sometimes losing also a good experience for the youngster) |

I still think Messi is better than Ronaldo, simply because for Ronaldo, he plays and performs well coz he wants to be recognized, wants to be the top and all. Compared to Messi, who do ever so wonderfully simply because he enjoys playing football. Not saying Ronaldo isn't, but Messi doesnt seem to care about personal acclaims at all, all he does is play football with pure joy and no worries at all.
If you watched Dragon Ball, It's like Messi = Son Goku and Ronaldo = Vegeta |
