so far.. i nvr sync the phone with my gmail account..
no idea why it keep on askin for gmail password..

reset to factory settings, change the *#*#1472365#*#* accordingly, install gps boost, turn off wireless, google map still cant lock....haish.

I heavily use google calender sync. I don't have any problem with it.
I use the gps setting, and it worked, lock after 1 or 2 minute

Then I understand your problem, please sync the google account as least 1 time...........otherwise it keep asking your password

hv u try leaving it in open space till u get the gps satellite lock?

rrp is 699, so yeah, I would say 650 to be a good price..

At least you need to login google account a time, otherwise your calendar & Android market unable use.

under manage account - gmail, i can c these 3 option in it.
Sync Contacts
Sync Gmail
Sync Calendar

Do i need to sync all these 3? if sync gmail, it will download all the mail into the phone?
i think my gmail used quite a lots of space.. it will eat up lots of space, rite?

Sync either one is enough, the purpose is to test your gmail account whether can login or not

Okay...after reading this i am confused. Samsung Galaxy 5 has two models is it (I5500 and I5503) ? Is I5503 the latest ? Or am i getting this very wrong...

The password only key in a time, thats why I mentioned login at least once

try to sync, but it give me error "Sync is currently experiencing problems. it will be back shortly".
try to remove the account, but it give me error and saying that i can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults...
