Thats one is HD version, only support 800*4xx resolution device..............Gameloft's games is hopeless for us

froyo, plz come to papa here~

sometimes battery runs out fast got many reason.
do u turn on wifi or mobile connection? if yes, tis is reali normal.
or do u properly close any application?
to make sure, the best is use task killer to kill running task.
besides, do u use any launcher pro or adw launcher?
or do u have any apps tat stay running in the task bar?
all these may consume battery.

i never notice a fully charged battery will consume how many percent battery for a long over night.
however according to experience jz now, i jz unplug my phone from 100%.
once unplugged, immediately it changed to 99%.
after few minutes, say like 10 minutes, which is now, i check it is already 97%.

i can say smartphone reali consume battery fast, as many apps may run in the background without ur notice.
even iphone also having issue in battery.
so my advice is always get ready to charge ur phone.

hi guys, i got a few questions.. i'm planning to get this phone for my wife cause her old phone KO-ed already... but I need to check a few things first...

1. how long is the battery life for this phone?
2. i know that the camera is only 2MP. it doesn't have autofocus and flash also if i remember correctly. is the photo quality ok, or is it really crap?
3. what should i check when purchasing a new unit? i'm planning to buy ori unit so i want to know what to check (i can only think of IMEI at the moment).

It won't go to 100%. 99% only.

u got the point, i think if wan to fully charged our g5 to 100%, it takes around few hours, mayb like at least 4 hours.
i think tis is normal.
and usually if charge thru usb, it would take even longer time, as it is indirect electric supply from computer or car and voltage difference.
if u use the charger to charge, i m sure will be faster.
i did root my g5 too, never experience problem in logging in to google.
is it ur wifi or mobile connection setting problem?
u got to check properly is it ur line is reali ONLINE.
basically for hidden ssid wifi, it is normal for tis to happen.
usually hidden ssid wifi have to use together with setting devices' mac address into modem.
if like tis, devices usually able to connect to internet faster and easier.

for ur case, ur g5 cant connect automatically if u are away and back, mayb is due to the refresh and scanning for network for g5 is not working immediately.
i think g5 only do scanning for network in a longer time interval bcz wanna save battery.
it is not like computer or laptop which always scan for network.
Froyo is a firmware name for Android OS version 2.2 and it is currently the most demanding android OS for android devices.
our g5 is running firmware called Sinclair aka Android OS version 2.1 now.

many ppl hoping the come of Froyo is becz of this newer firmware can bring us lotz more advantages in using g5.
for more information, u shud do some google search and get to knw more abt android 1st.

no need to wait for g5 with Froyo, as it may take very long time to wait, especially we r in malaysia.
if u r planning to get the g5, if Froyo releases in g5, u also can upgrade urself.
i m sure it is not difficult.

Recently Came the G5 rival, which is the LG optimus one pricing at 899 with 3.2inch screen. Most importantly it comes with froyo. Its another option for low end smart phone.

Its extract out and save into phone memory, you can use "Astro File Manager"'s backup function to copy into SD card

i m jz afraid those workshop ppl charge me for high price..

more stable? although i juz use mine for like a week, so far it's very stable.
care to share more on y malaysian firmware nt that stable compare to russian?

u don't need internet access for papago..
u only need internet for google maps.

hmm. Interesting news. Maybe its true. More stable because the russian firmware is a few months newer than our original firmware. There might be a few tweaks here n there. I have one question for bro qunox. How about 3g connection. Is there an option to turn it on n off?
