Emmm FUll HD, means you try to run a 1080 video in SGS? SGS is a DIVX certified device to run 720HD (stated in user manual on page 4).

I did post a video demo in version 7 and in the middle of the demo I ran a divx 720 video from standard player. Seems no problem, in case you wanted to see it here is the link http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry37925642

Here is the video properties....

Hi all,

Gr8 forum - love it!
Alot of cool and funny people in here =)

HELP ME rolleyes.gif

Ehm, I have read a whoooole lot of the Doc Froyo barebone ROM thread on XDA, though I must admit I'm no way near the end of the 800 pages...

So I thought I'd take a chance and ask you guys in here, seems a little bit more easier:

How the devil do I install the lovely Doc Froyo barebone ROM to my Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000? (which is the one who is also known as DOC KALPIK V7 ???)

I have read the FAQ in here and in XDA, but still seems to be quite confusing for me with the different versions of it and what you need to do...im lost =( Waaah

I have the standard Froyo stock rom on my phone, I have installed z4root and OCLF along with ROM Manager - ClockWordMod - thats all I've done to it as being the wildest...

My specs are (using the *¤1234¤):

PDA: I9000XWJPA
Phone: I9000XXJPP
CSC: I9000XEEJP4

I have a 32gb sd card installed as well.

So...which version do I install of the Doc Froyo and how????

'Cause I also wanna install this theme for it:
"NEW JPA VERSION WORK ON DOC_KALPIK ROM v7 BY WHISKEYBRO"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=770507

I know I have to uninstall OCLF first, right?

Please help me revive my superior love for this gorgeus phone and the world of Android to which I'm fairly new to (4 months).

Thank you all SO SO SO much for your time and help and answer.

Jakob

Supercurio discovered a bug in Universal Lagfix that will cause SGS cannot make phone calls. And Hardcore reply that it is fixable.

Wonder it has been fixed or not? hmm.gif

@MYstombox recommends Universal Lagfix. CF-root also can do that.

got one question here, how to install the battery mod indicator?
rename it as update.zip first then apply it from CWM?
or just install it like ROM?

Have you read Voodoo's FAQ?

Should be, create a folder called "disable lagfix" under /sdcard/Voodoo/ folder.

As for z4root, I think unroot and uninstall app will do.

Add Malaysia calendar into your Google Calendar account (the login id you used for your phone). The sync should be automatic.

Do note that, not all PH will be listed on Malaysia's PH Google Calendar. It's still pretty... immature.
