i'm using voodoo now and my benchmark is 1542... before this i was using the oclf my benchmark went to 1850... so should i change back to oclf... or do you guys think that giving up 1GB of SD space not worth it?

p/s: how to disable voodoo? i create the disable_lagfix foldber but when i check there is nothing in the file

i m stuck now, can't boot into recovery with up+home+power.. it comes out bunch of words with invalid arguments and invalid mount or something after i applied "No-RFS Standard: /data is rfs+ext2, all other partitions are ext4"
but notice that i still can go in download mode with down+home+power which i can only load in .pit files with odin, i did not use odin b4 but i need to know which .pit files i should put in if i wants to go back with doc roms

I think just the PDA will do, since you've already flashed to stock ROM before.

Anything you can find here?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=817703

You might need to manually extract the zImage file or do a complete overwrite of your phone using the ROM?

I tested both Speedmod K9A 256Hz and 300Hz for an equal amount of time. 300Hz kernel offers smoother animation transition but when there is something working in background, it may be noticeably laggier than 256Hz. Hence now I am on 256Hz kernel and I'm happy with it.

Linux geek should know this Hz thingy is a sacrifice between latency and throughput. No best of both world.

To compare with Eclair with Voodoo kernel, I would rate Speedmod with the score of 9 in terms of UI swiftness. Everything is so fast again. With the extra ~40MB RAM, I could run more apps in background.

Battery life is fine. I unplugged at 8am, it is 92% remaining now. I have push mail, whatsapp, Twitter and widgets updating itself. Pretty satisfying.

One word, Speedmod is excellent to make Froyo as enjoyable as Eclair.
