For proxifier , you can get ip from :

Here you can find lot of IP that are working [daily update]

Try use ip 6x.xx.xx.xx , 7x.xx.xx.xx or 11x.xx.xx since their working chance is higher than other.
And try dun use ip that with port 27977 [most of them fail]

As in the screen shot i saw you login via normal client.
Try use website login to play see how?
0)Go find a working ip.

1)Go to http://vindictus.nexon.net/
2)Login yours account.
3)Select server , then they will open vindictus.exe for you.

**Warning ! Please dont turn on the rule in proxifier or proxycap yet !
4)After the HShield passed and goes to login screen where you will see Start Game, Option and Exit.

5)Go to the proxy client and turn on the vindictus.exe rule.

6)Click Start Game .

7)Once goes to character selection , turn off the rule.

8)Play : ).

Once you are connected to OpenVPN & the status is green, no need to use proxy anymore.
Just login & start playing.

The error in the picture is usually caused by lag during login, it is normal.
You can press <Enter> 2 times to confirm the message & login again immediately. (Always works for me)

it keep give me the NGM error when i use website to log in!
I've follow every step of your and still same problem.... The ip is working well but still "cant unable to authenticate user"
so?

You get NGM at where?When click "Start game" or select server[at website].
**Note , you must not enable the rule yet else u will get the ?????????????? error .
If possible , dont download anything or browse other website during login to vindictus website.
And after select server and launch vindictus, do not do anything till you reach the menu then only alt tab turn on rule.

I always get ??????????? error when i browsing other website or downloading.Not sure y @_@

When I say login, launch the "C:\Nexon\Vindictus\en-US\vindictus.exe" & login from there.

Loading the website is already laggy, if you login from website sure always get that error message.

An shown at step 6 the vindictus.exe came out then gone again.
I tried using vindictus.exe to log in and i also get the same problem.
I didnt enable the rule. I enable the rule after the start menu at vindictus as shown in step 5.

When you login , u shd see 2 ip is open if sucessful then 1 of them will close and 1 remain there .

Why did you use Proxifier after connected using OpenVPN?
I already said no need to use proxy/Proxifier if using OpenVPN, straight away can login & play.
You are making thing complicated for yourself, by adding unnecessary things here & there, like running HotSpot Shield earlier, and then you use Proxifier after connected using OpenVPN while you said you follow my step by step?

Don't go & mix and combo all steps from different posts.

If you want to use Proxifier, you follow kokweng1's steps in his posts.
If you want to use Hostizzle's OpenVPN service, you follow the steps in my posts. No need other additional software like Hotspot Shield & Proxifier, just 100% OpenVPN software only.

Is it possible to survive in this game, totally without leveling those expertise?

I tried leveling my Tailoring and Platesmithing...only to found out that:
1) whatever I can craft = NPC can too.
2) it drains money VERY FAST...major money-sink.

Any advice on expertise? Should I care leveling it? What's the consequences or drawbacks if I don't level it at all?

Well, if you're using proxifier then yes, you'll most probably get that message. So i suggest you to use Open VPN GUI, it's easier and much more stable i suppose.

I used proxycap and openVPN and checked my ip is located in USA.But i still get Fail to authen... user.. when i login..any solution?Thx

Don't use proxycap + openVPN together at the same time...only one of them at a time.

If you use proxycap, other than vindictus.exe, you also need NMService.exe added to the rule set.

Seriously guys....stick with OpenVPN and forget all the troubles...



Anyway, any veteran know about expertise? Can I survive without it? How much different will my journey be with or without it?

Expertise in my humble opinion is a must especially if you want the looks ( tailoring ) and stats ( the others eg, weaponsmithing, platesmithing, goldsmithing ) and not to mention the side money you gonna earn from it. Just take tailoring for example , one of my guildie is already at proficiency of 194 / 199 and you start to see people selling those homebound sets and natural sets for like 700k or more although it does take hours to craft and the materials are expensive but overall you still get the profit and homebound is quite a lovely set too. As for stats, you get to craft 1-5 stars items, I went goldsmithing due to the accessories crafting where you can craft up to the highest tier accessories now compared to other expertise which only craft up to the lv58 set. 3stars items gives an estimate of 5-10% stat bonus 4stars at 10-15% and 5stars at 20-25%. Expertise do take alot of time and alot of gold to rank though. There's x2 expertise going on till tomorrow ( PST 00.00 Monday / GMT+8 15.00 Monday ) so make good use of it.

Ok, so crafting can get you rich, that's good. BUT, I am not really interested in getting rich there. All I want, is to enjoy playing, and make sure majority of the time I spend on entertainment is actually entertaining.
I am trying to weight here...
See, I really don't like crafting, I find smashing bosses much fun. HOWEVER, IF spending, say, 10% of my total playing time to do something boring (such as crafting) will make my journey/gameplay easier/funner by, say, 50%, then that 10% cost is a cost I willingly pay. Hope you understand what I mean?

In short, I am wondering exactly this:
How difficult to "get-by" in this game without crafting?
How much more "easier" my gameplay will be, if I spend time crafting?
What am I missing out if I don't do crafting? Is there special quests that give special stuffs, which needs you to complete some crafts?

Wondering if anyone has successfully charged NX to their accts? I want more bags T_T but paypal and mastercard isnt saying yes to me -.-"!

You can survive without those extra skill ."crafting i mean".
What special about it is , you can craft some equipment which cant be craft by NPC.
**{Most of them are low stats , just for the look}
What good about crafting is , u can get random from 1 to 5 star equipment , compare to NPC which give u 2star.
**{Quality of Equipment}
The higher , the better the stats.

Not turning off the proxy but just at the Proxification Rules there untick vindictus.exe and then enjoy !! : D
