just wanna add, the tip in page 1 made by TS works for GMS too! (global maple story)

So this is a program same like proxifier which bypass the ip so you can play vindictus?
Use manual configuration and enter the ip and port num to connect to US right?

Ok, after i read "Fellow M'sians in VINDICTUS + GUIDE TO PLAY! ^__^" which everbody talk about how to play this game. I started this thread because i need step by step help from you guys on how to make "Proxifier" or "OpenVPN GUI" program to work on the game.... I'm confuse with how to make the program work. What i mean is step helps and screenshot help if possible, thanks!

No. This does not operate like a proxy, it's just more like a gateway.

It is a VPN to connect to a US based network.
You will get a US IP, that's all.
So there is no restriction on ports numbers, filtering, blocking or any other nonsense.
There is no configuration required, no need to enter any IP or ports.

Just click connect & wait until you get the VPN IP address and you're ready to play.
Of course lag due to distance still apply.

i get a problem everytime i log in.

i used this steps for playing:
1. i searched for a proxy and paste in proxifier...did check ....everything was fine...and left it just like that with the check box windows still open (didnt click ok yet)
2. then i launch vindictus.exe...come up the enter pw/user ....
3.i entered username & pw.....then the thing said failed connecting to server tried again.... it said u have to log in from website
4. When i alt+tab to check my proxifier its GONE! (quited already ! ) i have to open again and set up proxy again zzz
when i log in the proxifier automatically quits..... i cant even uncheck the box T_T

5. I used the correct ports + all available tips from the forum..... HELP ME PLZ !!!

*edit: i download the HShield patch and now proxy works perfectly, problem is, i still cant log in !!! WHAT THE HECK !!! it keeps giving this message : failed connecting to [IGN] server thing zzz please log in from website 1st bla bla bla.... help

same thing happened to me after i updated to the latest patch. guess they able to detect whoever using proxifier then automatic get blocked..

If you want step-by-step instruction using OpenVPN solution in my post, you do not need to install Proxifier.

Download & install the OpenVPN, put your 30-days customized certs & config file into the OpenVPN config folder (This is auto install & auto placed into config folder if you downloaded the full package from the first link on the site after entering your e-mail).

If you are using Vista or Windows 7, you have to run the OpenVPN GUI as Administrator.
Then there is a small icon in the tray, just right-click and connect.

Once you get the OpenVPN IP & the icon status is green, you can use the Internet browser to http://www.ip2location.com to verify that your are "located" in USA.

If OK, then can launch Vindictus.exe and login to play.

There are ton of video in youtube .
Just searh for vindictus proxy in youtube .
You will get lot of video teaching.
currently they block proxifier [u can use if u repatch the hshield with old 1]
or use proxycap.

Proxifier doesnt work anymore with lastes patch.
They will auto close it after u launch vindictus.exe or even if u get login u will get unauthorized program detected and kick out.

The solution for this is :
1)Repatch urs HShield folder to an older version.[look at previous page].
2)Use other proxy program , eg:proxycap.
3)Use VPN [ not sure working or not]
4)Go to US : P
