Hi guys,i bought a used Maxis 3GS from a forumer here in lyn a few months back.Now i feel that the phone is give me problems.I am planning to send it back to maxis for warranty..Now the problem is,does the phone previous/original owner needs to follow me also to maxis?Thats gona be a problem as ive forgotten the forumer's id for me to contact him.Can i just go there alone?I still have the maxis warranty card/box etc,all its with me.

faiz I think it shouldnt be a problem as long as u have the warranty card, and receipt.. For me my iphone is registered under my mum's name because use her credit card, when i went claim warranty for my ip4 all they require is the official receipt and the warranty card..

i charging my iphone4 thru my PC, the got call so I answer the call when I put my ear to the speaker feel some small electricity short hit my ear... some kind of electric leakage...

try to replicate the problem. if u can, try claim wrranty. if u cant, probably juz ur body got too much static that time ;p

Actually I notice it's the cable.
Try plug the cable to computer, then use your finger to touch the 30-pin connector part.
I feel small electric shock all the time. Like ant biting.
The electric shock from iPhone is just because iPhone outer area is bounded by metal so it will conduct power

i just notice today my calender app is gone from my home menu? how come coz works fine yesterday. even the app is there in the background. anybody had this probs? oh ya, mine is iP4 maxis set non JB

Try restart the device?
Hold the power button and home button simultaneously (ignore the slide to power off) until you see the apple logo appeared on the screen, then release both button and wait for it reboot.

just done that and still same bro cry.gif to make thing worst i have not create back-up since I install the new OS 4.2.1 ( I think 1 or 2 month ago)

Added on January 9, 2011, 11:54 amgood news, after I connect to Itunes it suddenly appear ot the very last page as a new apps only..Shit, is this a glitch? lucky I didnt click restore..

(from forum that i've read, some people have replaced more than 3 sets of 3gs for warranty, all facing the same issue, problem still not fixed).

No contacts pop up when I start to input text.

When texting that I can't type the first few letters of a person's name and it automatically shows all the close options. I have to manually type in the ENTIRE address or hit the plus sign and go to my contacts.

Can I get replacement? This problem just happen occasionally and can be fixed by restarting the message app. However I guess it is not suppose to be like that.

hi guys,

i tried to downgrade from 4.0 to 3.1.3..after restore with 3.1.3.ipsw then got error 1015. after that i cant get out form recovery mode. is this error has something related with recovery mode..please help
